Henry Law was Dean of Gloucester from 1862 until his death in 1884. He is especially known for his work entitled "Christ is The Gospel in the Pentateuch", which surveys typologies of Christ in the first five books of the Old Testament. It was originally published in 1867. This is part five, dealing with the types in Deuteronomy.
Dreadful handling of the Bible. Totally making up whatever he wants to say using words fully out of context. Adding to that the flowery, old-fashioned style of writing that is quaint and strange, and I would not recommend this author or book at all. Yes, he exalts Jesus, but he abuses the Bible to do so.
