Vinson and Valeran came into the world holding hands. They shared everything: the bedroom, the bathroom, clothes, and food. Vinson was strong, a man of action, Valeran was an artist, and a dreamer.
But life changes people, and Vinson commits the supreme betrayal by leaving Valeran with no one to comfort him other than his brother Warrick. Taciturn, hard-working, studious, Warrick grew up in Vinson and Valeran's shadows, never asking for attention or affection.
When the nature of their true feelings between Vinson and Valeran comes to light, Warrick is bitterly disappointed and refuses to communicate with them. Will the three men follow the tiny light shining in the darkness? Finding in them the power to forgive, forget and start again? Or will the brothers stay alone in their own darkness?
H.M. Wolfe lives with the coolest Mom in the Universe and a fat, gay, submissive tomcat. She loves writing stories about boys and men who love, cherish, respect and protect other boys and men.
This book is about the Triplets. It gives an understanding of Warrick, Vin and Vale. This gives you a look into their relationship and their past. It shows what shaped them into the men they became and why. It's a big eye opener on you can't choose who you fall in love with. I was thrilled to see the part Vincent, Sebastian, Joraan and Nicholas played in this story. I loved the kids. I was thrilled that the Triplets found the love again that they have for each other. This was a book that took me by surprise more than once. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE SERIES!!!!!
This just wasn’t for me. I didn’t really like it. I had a hard time getting in touch with the main characters emotions. They weren’t likable. I don’t know if it was intended as a stand-alone but it wouldn’t work that way, since it involve a lot of characters from the previous books, who would be hard to keep track if haven’t read them before. I didn’t really like its take on BDSM. What I did liked was a character, Warrick, who might not be the mc, but was so much interesting that his brothers. His and Ian relationship was more appealing.
I like the book. The story is full of emotions-angry, sad, embarrassed, excited. I learned a lot about the lifestyles though. It’s kinda interesting 😁. I like it because the story definitely has happy ending. Although I like the book I’m not in love with the book. It’s more Of a romance to me (I’m in love with Warrick-Ian) but not enough action-not the ‘sexy’ action 😉. I love warrick he’s so strong and so selfless. I felt really deep connection with this guy 😊. I’d like more details about how they solved the big problems though, it’s just so fast like it’s gone when I blinked. Overall I like it. And I really thankful to the authors for bringing this interesting book. I’m not gonna to be a spoiler for others. I do recommend this book 😊
This book was given to me as an ARC, all opinions are my own.
A story about family, by blood or by choice, about sticking by each other and strength where one thought there was none left.
It's filled with love and the relationships are very sweet, I think anyone wanting to see a HEA from start to finish would enjoy this one.
There are dark times mentioned more than once, but any anguish seems more glossed over than delved in to, which I felt took something from the story. Instead of living through it with the characters, we were told about it and most troubles was worked through too quickly to be believable.
The language was very formal and I wished it had lightened up some with the children.
Nerves frayed? Yes they were. This book was so full of surprises, full of all the feels, amazingly hot, emotionally gripping, and so well written. Despite the emotional tugging, and I could not help but become immersed with the characters of Vincent, Valeran and Warrick. Repeatedly rooting for that HEA.
Regardless of being two halves, they managed to come together as a whole. The support of family and friends make a world of difference in any relationship and it was nice to see it work out in their favor.
Edge of your seat, continuous, do not put me down must read! In a word. FABULOUS!!!!
**I received a copy of ARC for my personal review.**
This book had the feelings from page one. It grabbed my heart and wouldn’t let go. I absolutely loved the characters and wanted them to succeed. They had to struggle for their HEA and they more than earned it. Their relationship and love was hard for some people but they just kept pushing through. It tugged at my heart so much. I wanted to cry and my pulse was racing with the surprises and twists it definitely kept me guessing and turning the pages. This had all the emotions and I never wanted it to end.i loved the characters and this book was so good.
When you come into the world as two halves of a whole it makes the betrayal that much harder to overcome. Factor in one more brother who feels like a shadow of these souls and so many things can go wrong. This book follows their journey, their heartache, love, and so much more. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed reading this story.
The Light with the Darkness was a Outstanding, this book will have you on the edge of your seat as it did me. HM Wolfe and E.L. Nelson are Phenomenal authors. With Vinson a man of action, Valeran an artist. The love they feel complicates thing The twists and turns lead to some betrayal throughout the story. Will they be able to have a happy life even though it is complicated?
This was one fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, amazing, deliciously dark, delightfully decadent, unconventional, definitely different, smoking hot, bittersweet, poignant, slightly naughty, raw, gripping, and totally awesome story. It had me hooked from beginning to end, and I would DEFINITELY recommend getting this marvelous gem immediately!!
An excellent read beautifully wrought, heart warming and touching,a lovely book. Full of raw emotion, and passions, heartache and healing love, full of Suprizes and had me clinging to every word and feeling for them,i loved it and will be recommending to my friends and a few of my family members.
I love books about soul mates, especially when they have to work for their HEA. And seeing their families come together to support them, even if they didn't always understand their relationship, was wonderful.
I freaking loved this...it was so much fun and sexy...had a bit of twists to it that I adored. It was amazing and I loved it so much. I can't wait for the next one
This one was a highly charged read with emotion. It's the triplets story, Vinson, Valeran and Warrick, that had suffered a lot until they found their happiness. It's a story that learns us about the importance of communication and what can cause a misunderstanding, greed, and the power hunger of money. Vinson and Valeran shared everything since they were in the womb. They are inseparable and they love each other without border. Warrick sees their connection and since childhood he does everything he can to protect them. Warrick suffered a trauma when he was eighteen years old and their brothers are the only reason he didn't take his one life. Life wasn't easy for him since he suffered a lot, was betrayed twice by his brothers and lost connection with them for a while. He's their support because when Vinson has health troubles he contact's Warrick and so the brothers are reunited to get over this struggle. Valeran was hurt when Vinson abandons him for getting married with a woman with which he has 2 kids. Warrick is the one who supports Valeran in his hurt and is encouraged to follow his dreams. It shows a submissive relationship based on trust, a taboo one, and an unhealthy one that is based on greed and money huger. The psychological impact of this story is a powerful one because it shows us the struggles of a scarred soul to live for protecting his brothers but that lives gives him only hurt and betrayal until he meets Ian Saint-Claire that makes everything to bring him happiness and who protects him. The three brothers are reunited and they slowly start to mend their broken trust, they discover the miscommunications they had, the misunderstandings and all the reasons that created their separation. Together they elucidate the reason they suffered when they were little, they learn that their triplets connection is still alive and that in their silent way his brothers also took care of him when they were little. They also are reunited with his father and form connection with the ones he has a established relationship. It was an extraordinary read that I highly recommend but I warn you that a couple of tears will be spilled during your read.
DNF @20%...I'm completley confused and lost. Is there another book about the brothers or their family? I have the feeling I'm missing things, which could help me understand this story. The first book in this series has other MCs in the blurb.
This was my very first brothers to lovers storyline and I must admit it wasn’t what I expectedly I normally shy away from that subject. It was very well written and sensitively too. I’m loving to get more of the back stories from the men of dragon house and I highly recommended these series. An absolutely must read 5*
IT'S A MENAGE BETWEEN 3 BROTHERS !!! Please, enlighten me, how can this possibly be ok? How can this be romancing, it's fucking INCEST . I don't care if it's fiction, it's disgusting. The authors who wrote this, and all of the 5 star reviewers are fucking twisted to think that 3 brothers could be ROMANTIC SOUL MATES. What is wrong with you people ????
You know, I get it's fiction and to each their own, but this is by far, the sickest thing that has come across my kindle. NO, I didn't read it, I didn't need to, just reading that blurb alone was enough for me. Now excuse me while I try to erase this whole thing from my brain ...
