La industrializacion: del segundo auge industrial a la crisis de 1982

Rate this book
The historical period running from 1885 to 1939 has led to this, the first of three volumes on the twentieth century Nuevo Leon. These texts meet academic standards of original research, theoretical and documentary material and information; this is an unprecedented publishing effort at the local level to explain this period of time in the northeast of Mexico. The first volume is a journey that allows us to understand the way in which Nuevo Leon experienced modernity and the consequences of it, followed by Monterrey booming into an industrial and urban, which radiates to the rest of the municipalities linked by rail.
Then we see how the train stops carrying minerals and moving troops from both sides of revolutionaries who fight for a new social and economic order; later, we see how local groups, particularly businesses, need to develop a huge capacity negotiating with the authority that emerges from the revolution in order to revive the local economy and "to back up" the socialist society project driven by Cardenas. Authors included in this volume are Caesar Purple Macías, Isabel Ortega Ridaura, Isidro Biscay Channels, Oscar Torres Flores, Javier Rojas Sandoval, Maria Zebadua Serra, Mario Cerutti and Alex Saragoza.
