After reading the first volume, it was good to return to this world and be part of the adventure that began during the first book. It’s true that I still had doubts about the first part and had to shake things up, but the writer will show you what he knows during the second volume. I enjoyed immersing myself in it, and I think it’s a very good decision not to give up the adventure. This second part is much more exciting and much more catchy for yourself than the first.

The world of Rocavarancolia is still completely dazzling and it felt really good to walk this land again. Plus, before we immerse ourselves in the plot, we get a little summary of what’s happened so far and help revive the excitement and information of the first volume, which is a huge help, especially when it’s a fantasy volume. Even the first chapter begins with a damn exciting start, and it wouldn’t be real if it weren’t full of complications and questions.

What I feared first became the greatest virtue of the volume. When I first saw how thick the second part was, I admit I was a little insecure and wondered if I should throw myself into this adventure if the first part didn’t become so favorite? Definitely yes, because wow, here The children of darkness on stone do not stay dry. It’s very addictive and you can’t just put it down and do your thing. He’s completely chained to himself and won’t even let go until the last lines.

As for the characters, just as they are, so am I moving more and more at home in the world created by the writer, and with each chapter I feel more and more that I don’t want to leave. Not only are the characters in the volume, but I am also crossing a certain stalemate, and from then on there is no stopping. We go ahead and look for answers, we ask more questions, and this circle just goes and goes, without interruption.

As for the plot itself, we race 100%, there is no shortage of adventures and action-packed scenes, nor in mysticism. Not only can we gain insight into the life of the Council alongside the children, but also into what is moving in the background. Because of this, the volume will be infinitely exciting and because of this it will be an inability to put it down. Our enthusiasm grows with each side, and by the end, we totally feel like we’re there in Rocavarancolia, too. Meanwhile, the coming of the Red Moon will also play a huge role, and as we get closer to it, the plot will become more and more tense.

I tore through this book. I couldn’t put it down. I don’t know how this series hasn’t caught fire in the states.
