I'm a Native Texan, born and raised close to the heart of the state. Also I'm a part-time working mother/housewife, as well as a Lupus Warrior.
Thanks to the encouragement of friends and family, I found a passion in writing paranormal romance books. Anything fantasy usually suits me and my novels tend to be able to reach anyone in multiple genres.
I like to explore to new types of characters such as Sandmen and Boogeymen for example. I really wanted to give them their own world. Such as A Sandman’s Forbidden Love. “This book plagued my dreams every night till I got it all out.”
Now Angels are also a part of my obsession, I will sit on the computer doing extensive research on both Sandmen and Angels trying to get my facts straight.
Then, I also create Art Journals that can be cross generational from thirteen to sixty years younger, My goal with these types of books are to reach people who need that extra feel good in their lives.

The Lupie Warrior is a story about a simple lady named Kristen who has the sickness Lupus. This is definitely the book’s strong point as it offers a look into understanding the sickness itself and feeling it through the eyes and heart of someone who has it.

In the story, Kristen meets a mysterious and enigmatic guy named Derek. There was an immediate connection between these two lovely characters but what comes after the meeting is something readers have to discover themselves. This story is very inspiring and has a unique fantastic element to it. I highly recommend it as it is a very entertaining read. If you are into moving stories about friendship, romance and fantasy, this is a book for you.

I admit, I read the story description and still had no idea what twist this story held! I don't want to spoil it for anyone else, but let me tell you, it's a nice little surprise! I'm the type of woman that can usually guess the outcome of a plot, whether it be a movie or book. My husband always thinks I've seen or read it before because I know what's going to happen before it happens. But with The Lupie Warrior I had no idea! There were even little clues! I still missed it.

This is a quick little read. I'm a slower reader and it still only took me about two hours. Being a mother of three and a workaholic myself, it fit perfectly into my life! It's an enjoyable read as well. For the price, I'd definitely recommend! Totally worth it!

The Lupie Warrior is a quick read with quite the impact. Given the genre and the title, it's not hard to figure out where the story is going, but that didn't spoil it at all. I really liked the premise here, and to be honest, I think it's something anyone who reads PNR has thought about, especially when faced with a longterm illness, disease, or chronic pain - What if it were real? Rather than give too much away, I'll stop there. Suffice it to say that the story is well-written, interesting, and Kristen Collins gets a lot in there for such a fast read. This one is perfect for a lazy couple of hours or a bedtime read to curl up with.
