Good overview of the spiritual themes within the show. Good argument/explanation for depth of discussion, art, and conversation that the show provides. I think he answers the "Why would a Christian like this show?" in a decent way. The chapters/themes he deals with are good. I wish he would have developed the chapters a little more and gone a little deeper; the book seemed like an overview more than anything of an in-depth look. If you liked the show, I'd recommend reading the book. If you haven't watched the show, I don't recommend that you do. But...if you don't listen to me - then read the book when you're done.

I think most Sopranos fans would love this book. It was well-written, easy to read, and incredibly thought-provoking. While the book is supposed to pick up the religious undertones of the show, it also gives a much deeper understanding of the storylines and the characters overall. This isn't fiction, but I still found it to be a very enjoyable read.

At first I thought this book was a real drag and kind of dumb. But it really is worth a read. It examines our present day society through the the popular Sopranos tv show. I find it gives great insight into our society and its problems. Religion is discussed, but not in a preachy way. If you are a sopranos fan this book is worth a try.

From the era when The Sopranos had their own cookbook, board game, pinball machine, etc. Exists as a logical consequence of market demand, not because the author had any dazzling theological insight to convey. Briefly fun.

The book just kind of broke down the characters of the show I found it enlightening.
