Some things should never be forgotten...

Amy Harrison's perfect life is about to come crashing down. Because Amy Harrison's perfect life is a LIE. She has the perfect adoptive parents, perfect job, perfect friends, and she's about to marry the perfect man. There's only one problem. She can't remember the first twelve years of her life, and she's terrified something horrible happened, something she should have never forgotten. Amy starts taking an experimental drug in an effort to recover her lost past before her wedding, and all she can see is blood.

Can her chaotic flashes of memory be real? Bloody halos. Doors and a car and chocolates. Whiskey. Pink. A voice. Someone who loved her. Someone she loved. And death. So much death. Determined to protect her fiancée and her unborn children from her past, she keeps pushing forward; but the memories take over more and more of her, pushing Amy away and replacing her with someone else.

Will Amy be able to recover her past, learn the terrible secret that made her forget it all, and save her own life before she loses everything?

Hi, I'm M.M. Crumley Your Author Extraordinaire (Also Known as M.M. Boulder)

As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.

As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!

No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

I have several series to help you scratch your itch for adventure:
THE HOUSE OF GRAVES Series
THE IMMORTAL DOC HOLLIDAY Series
THE LEGEND OF ANDREW RUFUS Series
JANEY FALKE: SAINT KILLER Series (Coming Soon)
Five Deliciously Dark Psychological Thriller Novels

OMG what a great book!
My friends this book blew my mind! It was so good. Amy the main is fantastic and so lovable and the way M.M. Boulder made it feel like I was in Amy’s head the whole time was outstanding. My heart was racing like the whole book. The twist and oh baby the turns I can honestly say I was blown away and did not see the ending coming. Plus there was an exclusive epilogue link that was perfect and you have to read it—just saying--! I hate spoilers and recaps so fear not fellow readers I won’t spoil anything but I will say it was the best Psychological suspense thriller I’ve ever read and I’ve read a lot. I think how likable the characters were really set it apart and of course the part when my head like went Ka-Blamo! That was a big part too :D Get cozy because you won't even realize you stayed up half the night reading like I did. So fast paced so gripping and so well written and edited. I am now a happy convert and will gladly worship at the altar of M.M. Boulder for life! Soooo Good! Read it! Seriously.

I personally think it's amazing. But I wrote it, and I'm sure I'm biased. I will tell you that even I was surprised with some of the things that happened. My characters never do what I tell them to. So independent. If you like domestic thrillers, you'll love it!

I loved this book! The main character, Amy, can't remember anything about her life before she was twelve years old. She's getting ready to marry the man of her dreams, but she's worried about her past--so she's taking an experimental drug meant to help her unlock memories.

It works!

The problem is those memories give her more questions than answers. I'm not going to say anything else because I don't want to spoil it for you. The story started a little slow, but it picked up later on and took me for a heck of a ride in the second half. And Amy turns out to be a strong heroine, in control of her destiny. I recommend this book. It's a real page turner!

Don’t waste time

This book was the worst book I’ve ever read unless you were looking for an immoral weak woman that couldn’t think for herself without depending on a man.

This was a good read, not as exciting or as funny as 'My Better Half' but still a good read. Halfway through the book I was wondering how the author would make the plot last for the remaining half of the book, they did it well and I loved the ending. Who says thriller and murder novels can't end up with a happy ever after 🤣

Repetitive and silly. The overuse of the word daddy is freaking me out.

Fantastic! My wife read this one and made me read it too because she was so excited about it an fair to say she was right. This was a great psych suspense/thriller. I love the use of memory flashes throughout the story to increase the suspense and action. It was a quick read I just couldn't put it down and I found myself thinking about it all day at work. I'm happy to give this one 5 stars and look forward to reading future novels by M.M. Boulder.

Unpredictable

I had no idea what direction this book was going in, but it surprised the poop out of me. The twists and turns were crazy. As I drew closer to the end I was thinking it was ending really weak, but holy smokes just when you thought it was over, the author gave you one last unpredictable twist. The book was crazy good.

Last door will probably be my last book by this author

This book was a quick read but there was Definitely something lacking. It was suspenseful but you didn't really know why but not in a good way. It was definitely unbelievable but that doesn't usually stop me from enjoying a good book. I can't really recommend this book. I was very middle of the road with it. This is just one you will have to decide for yourself because the reviews are all over the place. I read a lot of psychological thrillers and there are so many better ones out there than this. Sorry.

Good story, but...

The plot was interesting but the story was hard to follow. The mix of current events, memories and speculation was poorly constructed. The story jumped from one time or place to another without defining paragraph construction, like a big run-on sentence. It read like a first draft in serious need of editing. However, the story was interesting enough to finish. I'm hoping to see this author continue producing these intriguing stories, but with better editing and context.

A great read. I really enjoyed this book.

I liked the tormented character of Amy/Ana. She tried so hard to remember the first twelve years of her life no matter how painful. Her fiancée was very lovings and had her best interest at heart. The same couldn’t be said for his mother.

Meeting up with her estranged daddy helped her figure out her past and the reason for the murders. In the end justice was served.

This is the second book I’ve enjoyed by author M.M. Boulder. I look forward to more of her books.

suspenseful and exciting!

there is a wonderful twist, towards the end of the book. You will be pleasantly surprised. Amy, is doing everything she can to hold her life together, while also trying to remember her early years. She cannot quite remember, before the age of 12. Find out why!

This book was all over the place for me. You couldn't tell when scene changed, when it was the past or the future. Some of the story seemed a little extreme. The main character annoyed me at times. So many questions unanswered.

Ridiculous premise. Cardboard characters. It got boring watching the main character try to deal with recovering her memories via unhealthy behavior.

Fairly good read

The story line wasn’t too bad but I found it a bit tedious about all those doors. Will try another ones of her books.

This was a good story, however took me a good fifty or so pages to get on board. Once it hooked me there were plenty of twists to keep it interesting.
