well it was a good handbook, it was easy to read, at the first it was just too simple, too basic, things you can find with a search and an hour on youtube, but in the end it actually became really inspiring, I enjoyed the last chapters a bunch, and It really motivated me to commit to the life that I wanted, and I feel really glad that I was able to read and finish this book, this is 3rd book I've read ever since I started reading, I hope to thrive in my reading journey and use this book as like a handbook guide to filmmaking when I was actually shooting or editing, and the book was really resourceful I'm really glad since I always wondered what to read, what book do I need to read, and having a recommendation list from the author really helps me, and lots of thanks to miguel parga for writing this.

I already knew a lot of the content in this book. BUT the basic technical info in all sectors of the film industry was useful. And the advice given towards mindset and leadership as a director was positive and motivating. This book helped me realise that I want to be a director.

This is actually an excellent book! It has some tips and guides for any aspiring filmmaker! Also, especially for people who can't afford to film school.
