Over 50 individuals were willing to share their personal tragedies as a way of helping others who face a similar loss as well as educating the public about the issues survivors of suicide face. Great book with stories of survivors that really hit home. One in particular was so close to my loss that it was as if the book was trying to tell me something about my loss. I am still not sure how far to go with this and I wish I knew where to go.
Reading the accounts is like being a suicide survivor group without having to attend one. I read through the accounts of parents losing their child to suicide as this is my situation. I found this helpful. At some point in the future, I may read the other accounts.
