This book is a real guide for raising children! We studied a lot of questions in our book. Let's think, what situations do parents face? There are various everyday life situations, so we tried to describe the most popular problems with children aged 1 to 5:
Going to bed
Mouthing everything
Gadgets and TV
Helping parents
Fight over the table
Toilet Training
Fights with siblings
and many MORE We have put a lot of effort into creating that guide and we hope our book will become your real assistant. Are you still in doubt?

So, as a mother of 4 kids, a 6/4/2 and 1-year-old, I was looking to see if there was something to help with the temper tantrums my 4 and 2-year-old kids throw at me every day. Especially at the “popular issue” times that this book is supposed to touch onto: Going to bed (all of them), fighting over TV (All of them), Toilet training (my 2-year-old) and fighting amongst themselves. Ok, I guess I pretty much am looking for some advice on it all. After reading this book that says its not like other ones out there, I think that they are correct. Broken down into different sections such as defining discipline and how your approach with toddlers needs to be different than with say teenagers, the issues you will have with toddlers, the different parenting styles all the way to a breakdown of each age group and what to expect from them. As I already have 4 kids in varying ages of this book, I’ve been through some of the stages and know what to expect. Most of the advice in here I was already familiar with, but its always good to get reminders. I found the areas with real life scenarios the most helpful. I think for a new parent this book can be an eye-opener.
Mary Simmons lays out a simple plan for nurturing your children at a young age in Best Practices in Toddler Discipline from 1 to 5 Without Tantrums. Realistically, she knows you will have tantrums at the very beginning as your child does not know the correct way to express their emotions. She instructs people what to expect and what you can do to help your child grow and thrive into well-behaved children.
I no longer have toddlers, but I strongly believe what Mary Simmons teaches in her book, Best Practices in Toddlers Discipline from 1 to 5 Without Tantrums. I laughed when she outlined the different parenting types. I was 2 or 3 of those types throughout my children’s toddler years. How you allow your children to act at home is how they will act in public; which is not the best time to train them when everyone is watching. This parenting book is not overwhelming, but informative while she encourages you to make tough choices. I love how she makes it simple, because really not all of us know how to teach our children what is right from wrong daily.
