The book "Odds and Evens" teaches about what it means for things to be odd or even. I could use this book in a classroom when introducing odds and evens or when trying to refresh my students on what it means for something to be odd or even. This book would be good to use in a classroom because it asks many questions throughout the book and there are many pictures and examples throughout the book for students to see and understand. Although the book is old, I think that students will still be able to understand and grasp the concept of odds and evens.

This book asks what does it mean to be odd or even when talking about number. Do we see odd or even number out in the real world. I could use this book to jump start an investigation and have the students track down things that are made up of odd number and even number of things.
