Sanee Bell mixes her own powerful personal stories with wisdom from other thought leaders to provide tangible strategies to Be Excellent in our organizations. I loved her focus on “being intentional with your time, being intentional with the company you keep, and being intentional about where you focus your thinking and energy.” I loved the LeadForward strategies and the encouragement and challenge included in the MovingForward section. A great read!

I can't explain how helpful this book has been to me as a leader. Dr. Sanee is so authentic and practical. It is not a book to just read and put on a shelf. An excellent read for any educator who wants to make a difference and grow as a leader. I highly recommend this book for teacher leaders, admin programs or leaders currently in the field. Great stories and strategies and the opportunity to reflect and create a personal plan at the conclusion of each chapter. Glad I took this journey with Sanee Bell!

Her chapter on amplifying student voice is a powerful reminder to put student voice at the forefront of education in all realms.
