Missing Foxx: When You Least Expect It...
Continuing on from Book 1: Following a lead on Monica, Max has flown down to Portsmouth in the hope of finally bringing her to justice. But justice seems to have already been served when he arrives to find her and Steve, one of his trusted employees, dead in a hotel room.
Monica's death has finally given him the closure he so desperately needs and released him from the confines of her 'unbreakable bond.' She no longer poses a threat to those he loves, and knowing that Vivienne is finally ready to accept his proposal of marriage, life just couldn't be better.
On her own in the penthouse waiting for Max to return, Vivienne stumbles upon an intruder. The shock and surprise that it is someone she knows only too well, is compounded by the realisation that no one is going to save her. No one knows she's in danger, least of all Max.

This is such a good series.. So much is going on. There is lots of love and a crazy ex.. Max and Viv have their issues but he fights for her... Ends in a cliffhanger so have book 3 ready to go.. But make sure you read book 1 before this..

I started reading this straight after the first book as I couldn't stand the suspense. I am very pleasantly surprised that the second book was as good as, if not better than the first, which is rare in series. Don't want to write too much about what happens in the book just in case it spoils the first book for anyone. If this series doesn't become as or more popular than 50 shades of grey I will be shocked! Fantastically written these books are full of ups, downs, suspense and will have you holding your breathe at times!! Lisa Mackay has done it yet again, leaving book 2 on a cliffhanger, really cannot wait to read book 3!!!! x

Amazing Story
I cannot believe I have only just discovered this author what a spellbinding story that had me gripped from the beginning. It had everything intriguing twists and turns but a lovely romance.
I could not put it down been a long time since I devoured a book so quickly can't wait to read the final book

Amazing as usual
Did think it possible but second book even better than first. Can't wait to read the third. Ticks all boxes for me. This book has a bit of everything for everyone's tastes. Absolutely amazing! But wouldn't expected anything else from Lisa Mackay

A story full of love, violence, and mystery. Where is Monica? Is she really gone forever? Vivienne and Max truly love one another but is it strong enough to get them through all that they are facing? I liked the premise of the book. The characters are believable and the scenes are well-written. The story line became too slow about three-fourths of the way through.

Not as thrilling as book 1
Although I enjoyed this part of the story a couple of times it was possible to work out what was going to happen next. I still enjoyed this book though, which is why I gave it a 4* rating.
Looking forward to book 3.

i mean what do you say!!! this book kinda started a little like the end of the last and was a little slow and then wham!!! couldn’t put it down and whT. shocking end!!!

I stayed up all night reading this, I threw my phone 6 times. the plot twists and my heart honestly can’t handle it.
