This book is supposed to be an urban fiction tale but it has elements of paranormal and suspense also. The story is about a pair of sisters and a set of siblings that are all connected to each other via acts of infidelity. I gave the book 3 stars because it was not a horrible read but it wasn’t a mind blowing read either. I love books that shock me and surprise me with twists and turns. The author definitely tried to make it suspenseful but I figured out the plot by the 10th chapter and the book is 47 chapters long. I don’t recall any grammatical errors, so that’s always a plus for an indie author. I would have wanted for the book to have been shorter and I would have appreciated if the plot flowed effortlessly and in a different manner. It started off in one time frame and then jumped to a different time frame for the remainder of the story and jumped to another time frame temporarily and then back to the main time frame. The author also added a paranormal twist to the story by introducing the appearance of spiders to compliment the title of the book. I understand that the author was trying to make some sort of correlation but I was not a fan of the spider appearances and analogy. I think the readers would understand the meaning of the title anyway since it is a common phrase used to describe a complex relationship of sorts. Again, it wasn’t a bad read. The takeaway is that you should know who you are in a relationship with.

I really was not expecting this book to end the way it did. This book is a complete metaphor for when knowing when to walk away. I honestly enjoyed every bit of this story. While I laughed the entire time, I read this book I was still able to connect with each of the characters in some way. I think the parts of this book that brought me the most joy were the parts where the characters went to church. There were many lessons to be learned from the characters, but my top ones are below:

1. 1. Know when to walk away and when to stay: Everyone is guilty of staying in some form of a relationship where they know that it is not going anywhere… and these characters struggled most with making the decision to stay in a dead-end place or move on for their own happiness.
2. 2. What’s done in the dark will come to light: that’s self-explanatory….
3. 3. Nothing is ever as it seems: nothing about this story was ordinary including the situations the characters found them selves in.
4. 4. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander: The only person that hurts in a game of tit for tat is you. While you trying to hurt someone else are you really fixing the problem?
The characters in this book all have their own reasons for doing the things that they did and when I learned why they made the decisions they made I was able to feel sympathy for a few of them…

My absolute favorite character out of the entire Story was Pastor Hunt…. If you have never experienced a Godly read, then you are missing out…. Pastor read everybody from the head to toe. The Character that surprised me the most was Ji…. I can’t tell you why, but he did… Ji is a real one.

Both B’Shone and China did an amazing job creating this web… I mean this entanglement is better that Jada Pinkett and August Alisina.

This is a five-star read because the story line was not predictable, the character development was amazing, and the situations were hilarious. This book should definitely make your summer read list because it just should be.

Ok, first let me just say I had a dream about a spider! There was so much going on in this book it kept you wanting to get to the next chapter just to see who was going to do what and to whom first! Luther just thought he was getting away with it all but his wife Victoria was always two steps ahead of him. The get back was real and she was not playing about it. Malaysia was just a hot mess and full of emotions that I think played with her mind of wanting true love but didn’t know where or how to look for it... so she got it in all the wrong places. I just adored the characters of Victoria’s friends they were true ride or dies and still messy about it. I have no words for Ji (Korean Hot Mess). The character of B’Shone was crazy (you’ll find out why when you get to the end of the book). This book is full of lies, betrayal, and great sex!

Oh and the moms Jackie and Elizabeth is really the ones who should be slapped for all this family confusion hahahha!

I believe Victoria has understand that two wrongs don’t make it right!

Good read!

Entanglement...Spiders...Entanglement...Betrayal...Entanglement...Nymphomania...Big A Spiders...Entanglement.....and Scene

Infidelity breeds strange bedfellows in this mix of urban and paranormal fiction. The characters couldn't trust themselves, much less each other. A new love was tested with the re-appearance of an old love. Current lives were tested by betrayal. All of this drama led to some freaky drama. I think the authors did a good job of creating interesting characters and a valiant effort to add in paranormal to a genre that it is not always been coupled with in the past. I like it. I think the story moved quickly and well. The characters were developed enough that their motivations and actions made sense. I would not classify this as a thriller, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Yes, there was a bit of predictability, but it was offset for me by the humor. I'd recommend it to those wanting something different from their urban fiction. 3,5 rolled to a 4

Uh-Mazing series! I could not put it down! I read the first book and found myself reading the other 4 back-to-back.
