Dream Fragments: Book Four of The Dream Waters Series

Rate this book
The Dream World is at war, and no corner will be left untouched as the two most powerful dragons in existence vie for the throne… Hell-bent on crushing the rebellion led by the monster who abducted his wife, the Dragon King plans to flush Godric out of hiding by sending a team of warriors deep into the Dark Forest and the wasteland beyond. As one of the trusted few chosen for this mission, Charlie will need to harness all the power he possesses before facing the dangers ahead. But first, he must learn to control the rage that envelopes him whenever his bestial instincts emerge. Frustrated to be left behind when Charlie sets off on the mission, and anxious to do her part to restore peace to Draumer, Emma jumps at the opportunity to help garner support from an allied kingdom. There, she’ll get her first glimpse at the path she’d been destined to take and the realm she was meant to rule. Meanwhile, as Godric awaits the King’s next move in seclusion, his thoughts become consumed by the events that robbed him of everything that was his by birthright. With both sides looking to the past—as they advance toward the fight ahead—the lines between right and wrong begin to blur, perhaps to the point that some will find themselves questioning where to stand when the past and present collide...

Erin Jensen is the Amazon International bestselling author of The Dream Waters Series. She was awarded the Bronze Medal for fantasy fiction in the 2018 Readers’ Favorite international book award competition. She also received Honorable Mention for fantasy fiction in the 2018 Writer’s Digest self-published e-book awards.

A part-time pharmacist and a full-time creator of imaginary worlds, Erin lives in upstate New York with her ridiculously supportive husband, two teenage sons (who are both taller than her) and a Yorkshire terrier who believes he’s the family bodyguard. Early on in her writing career, Erin vowed to get a dragon tattoo once she reached a certain milestone number of reviews. She no longer divulges that number for fear that she'll actually reach her goal and have no choice but to go through with it. If you'd like to make that happen, leave a review on Goodreads and wherever you purchased her books and she'll be sure to share pictures of her celebratory ink on social media.

Erin is a sucker for any book that draws you into its world, makes you feel for its characters and keeps you thinking about it long after you've turned the last page.

After finishing a particularly gripping series several years back—and mourning the loss of its presence in her life—she decided to create a fictional world of her own. Now, nothing thrills her more than hearing from a reader who loves her books and feels for her characters as much as she does.

5 all my favorite characters stars!!

All my favorite characters are back and I have never been more excited!! I have never been let down by this author and this book has not been any different. The twists the turns the growth of all of the characters not just the ones you expect to grow. How she can make you feel bad even for the evil characters, I can’t believe I felt bad for him.

This is such a complex story and I don’t want to spoil any of it with explaining how the fourth book plays out. Charlie is back in this book and he is still so unbelievably adorable but finally growing into his own. I really disliked David in the first two books but man in this fourth book do I start to really, really like him. Tristan and Brian will forever be my favorite brothers, for reasons other than being irresistible. Emma is finally a power to be reckoned with. Everyone should have a Bob and Nellie in their lives both in Draumer and the Waking world. Clay was quite a surprise but I really hope we get more of him in book five. Zeke was a super big surprise and I loved every minute spent with him.

This book doesn’t have a ton of action but what it lacks in action it totally makes up for in story telling. You get so much background I finally understand so much and I just ate it all up. The flashbacks were everything I lived for, especially for people I didn’t even think I needed flashbacks for. I can’t sing my praises about these books enough, everyone should read them. Go buy them all!!
