This collection
Giving a Heart of Lace What starts as a desperate measure to survive leads Lady Serafine Parkington to a Valentine’s Day she will never forget.
Being Lady Harriet’s Hero Investigating the contents of her neighbour’s newly acquired mansion seemed like a wonderful way to get closer to him - but Lady Harriet finds herself falling into a traitor’s trap, rather than Lord Geoffrey’s arms. Can Lord Geoffrey save her before it’s too late?
Loving the Bitter Baron Gerald, Lord Tillingford, cannot allow any woman to get close to him - for he knows that his experiences during the war have left him a monster, but Lady Alyse Barrington is determined to get past his frosty exterior, and discover the man beneath. That quest leads her into terrible danger. Can Lord Tillingford prevent his past from destroying his future?
Falling for the Earl Widow, Mrs Jane Canfield, never expected to find new love by falling into a field of spring flowers... and solving the mystery of an Earl’s missing son.
Restoring the Earl’s Honour When two people who have every reason to hate each other come face to face, they discover that nothing is as they had believed. Can they, together, right the wrongs of the past?

Arietta Richmond has been a compulsive reader and writer all her life. Whilst her reading has covered an enormous range of topics, history has always fascinated her, and historical novels have been amongst her favourite reading.
She has written a wide range of work, from business articles and other non-fiction works (published under a pen name) but fiction has always been a major part of her life. Now, her Regency Historical Romance books are finally being released. The Derbyshire Set is comprised of 10 novels (7 released so far). The ‘His Majesty’s Hounds’ series is comprised of 17novels, with the fourteenth having just been released.
She also has a standalone longer novel shortly to be released, and two other series of novels in development.
She lives in Australia, and when not reading or writing, likes to travel, and to see in person the places where history happened.

Five wonderful stories gathered together into this great Spring & Valentine collection. Giving a Heart of Lace: Endearing story about overcoming the prejudice of social standing and of striving hard to reach your goals. Sera’s tried very hard to put food on the table and warmth in the house for her Mother. Her meeting with Raphael was profitable for both of them and their relationship grew quickly from there. I look forward to reading more about their romantic journey in their next book and would highly recommend this story. Being Lady Harriet’s Hero: Entertaining tale of treason, secrets, heroes, danger and romance with strong main characters and intriguing supporting characters who help to make this a book not to miss. Geoffrey is on a mission for the crown when Harriett decides that she needs to assist him. It will give her an opportunity to try to convince him that they should be together. Wonderful story that I just couldn’t put down. Another winner from the author. Loving the Bitter Baron: I loved Alyse and Gerald’s story. Gerald has been tormented by what he was required to do during the war. He is positive that he will not be able to marry as no lady of character, would want to tie herself to a ‘monster’. Alyse is tired of the balls and the marriage mart. She wants a husband who will accept her as she is. Can these two lost souls find happiness together? I enjoyed this story very much. Falling for the Earl: Well written story of an older couple, from mixed social standings, finding happiness together. Nicholas & Jane are strong characters who are not intimidated by the English Ton. Nicholas is worried about his missing son, Gervaise, and only Jane can give him some relief. I enjoyed this story very much and look forward to what comes next in this series. Restoring the Earl’s Honour: Enjoyable, well-written storyline, filled with intrigue, danger, betrayal, secrets, gossip and forgiveness. This book brings back some of our favourites, ties up some loose ends from previous books, and is a wonderful way to end the series. The lives of Marion and Drummond (Sin), touched briefly nearly seven years before at the death of Marion’s first husband. Can they overcome the past and reach for a future together? Wonderful characterization in keeping with the Regency period. I loved this book.
These five novellas have interesting characters, differing situations and competent writing. Several of them are from the series His Majesty's Hounds. I have already read the deeper story that follows 'Giving a Heart of Love'. And I am set to read more about the love affair of Setford and Anna.
I like novellas because there isn't enough time to get into gritty, suspenseful details and allows me to focus on the story at hand. Sometimes we need an escape from the grittiness of life.
There isn’t an Arietta Richmond story I haven’t liked. This story weaves characters of mystery and mettle. Sin, or Drummond, has his work cut out for him in righting the family name and restoring their estates. Everyone hates him. Even the widow, Marion, of his friend Martin who was killed in a duel. That duel caused him to leave England and reevaluate his life. Even Prinny thinks so!
Set of books The Regency Spring and Valentine’s Hearts Collection Not steamy 1 Giving a heart of lace 3 2 Being Lady Harriet’s Hero 4 3 Loving the bitter baron 2 (torture descriptions and threat of rape-in a romance, yuck) 4 Falling for the earl tedious-did not finish 5 Restoring the earl’s honor 3
