Really cute Halloween story. Short and sweet. Love how the group of friends stay together regardless of what happens. Not scary but really good nonetheless.

Another lovely equine book for the series!

As a little girl, I loved getting lost in timeless classic stories about other children my age who solved (missing/lost items) mysteries, or discovering a long lost object, or having innocent fun and adventures. It’s refreshing to find an author who brings this to a vibrant, modern era for our next generation.

Of the books in the series thus far, it seems this has the most grounding with information about horses/horseback riding. Unexpected, so it seemed to drag at first. A second listen was seem less and balanced out.

The heart of the story was unique and brought warm humanity and humility to our group of friends. The acceptance and bond of loyalty, mixed with their openness to learn and understand their diversity is a learning tool for youngsters in today’s world.

I liked revisiting this world and joining the gang. Young at hearts everywhere will love it too!
