This felt like an enjoyable whirlwind in the beginning.
And then turned into an odd, issue filled, time jumping puddle in the end.
I must say towards the 65% point I very quickly lost interest.. from that point on it no longer felt like an overarching storyline but rather a bunch of events and/or issues that happened and then got resolved one by one.
I can’t say that I didn’t enjoy the story, but also also was not invested at all towards the end. To the point that I basically kept reading simply so that I could finish it. Which, for something with such a promising start, is truly disappointing.
