Crystal Crawford writes YA fantasy (and a smattering of other genres) in Florida, where every natural body of water hides something that could eat you, and if they don't get you, the weather might. She lives with her husband and their four kids, who support her dream of writing and drinking far too much coffee. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys napping, reading, playing video games, watching shows with her family, and recording secret singing videos in her closet, though most days you'll find her doing laundry and homeschooling the kids.

The journey Lex makes through this trilogy is truly beautiful to see. I really love how everything he does, all the choices he makes, are all intertwined with the choices of others to make the perfect, though not painless, plans of the Worldforce fall precisely into place. Lex is one of those true heroes that I love to read about; even though he is unsure of so much, he does not hesitate to do what he must when the time comes. I was more satisfied with this final book than I usually am at the close of a trilogy. So many events are unexpected, and often unpleasant, throughout these books; but this one is the crown of them all. Thank you, Crawford, for this amazing experience in the World of Arameth!

I enjoyed book 3, "The Ends Of Exile" in "The Lex Chronicles" series. The last book of the trilogy was exciting and filled with more twists and turns putting Lex and his friends through many difficult and life-threatening situations. I appreciated that the author wrapped up all the mysteries introduced in the first two books of the series. Brad Gilliam's narration was entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

A Wonderfully Imaginative Story

Fantastic interaction between characters in this marvelous fantasy that also has a strong moral story, good vs evil!

Great ending to the trilogy. As expected, Lex and his friends encounter the baddest of the bad. You might need some tissues to make it through this one.

I enjoyed the audio books of the first two books in trilogy via Story Origin and Audible. I was excited to read the conclusion via Kindle Unlimited. I loved the Lex Chronicles trilogy. The Ends of Exile was an exciting conclusion. At times, I was reminded of the Chronicles of Narnia comparing Elidian (sp) to Aslan. Adventure and Revelations await in the Ends of Exile.

Ohhhh, this finale is like a balm to your bleeding heart. I sound like I'm joking, but it really is after the hits you take in the previous books.

Once again, these characters are back to hit you with pain and misery until about the final three chapters. The tense, heart-pounding tone from the previous books continues throughout this one, but Crystal - as always - decided to dial up by a factor of 10,000. As stated before, this series is not for the faint of heart. I will probably end up in an early grave due to the stress these characters put on my heart. The plot-twists are wonderfully brutal, and because you love these characters so much, it only makes it that much worse. Even more sacrifices were made, and at this point, they literally have nothing left to give, yet give they continue to do. Somehow.

Besides the characters, I can't help but love all the loose ends that were tied up. This series has a habit of asking questions, and for the longest time, many don't feel like they'll ever be answered. The ones pertaining specifically to the world and characters finally are given an explanation, and the satisfaction I feel is amazing.

And the settings? Alive and rich, as always.

One thing I'll note is that this book does end on a happier note than I originally thought it would end on, due to reasons I will not spoil. I personally loved the ending because the characters absolutely deserved some happiness after everything they went through, and it is not as if there aren't consequences for their actions. They'll be facing them for many years afterward, but for some, the ending may come off as "too happy". I see that criticism's point, but as I said, I loved the ending, so I disagree.

Overall, it is a great finale to a fantastic series. I recommend every one of these books highly, as they easily make my Top 5 list of best books ever.
