An interesting tale of Renaissance life, focusing on voyages and discovery, chivalry in the 1400-1500s, and presented in an easy-to-read way. That's one thing a number of historical fiction books get wrong, in trying to focus too much on accurate dialogue and less on the characters and setting. This is book #11. I'll keep an eye out for others in the series.
