Insofar as eye-candy, I wasn't overly wowed by Tucci's style, particularly his love of the fish eye lens, but reading through, I also got the impression that the book was somewhat dated - all the photographs are D1 and D2XS captures, which, of course, have since been replaced by the D3/D3S/D3X... He is also a huge believer in natural light, and while I don't disagree that flash lighting provides flat lighting in the hands of an amateur, for a lot of us, it adds that special oomph to the photograph, especially in backlit situations.

That said, each of his photographs includes priceless breakdowns of camera body, lens (occasionally lacking this info), f-stop, ISO, and shutter speed and other (tripod, flash, etc), and that was fantastic. I also find his posing advice very refreshing comparatively - there are complex rules governing group shots, but Tucci makes it seem like a breeze (for better or worse...). The inside look into his wedding day process is also invaluable, including the time into which he squeezes out his shots.

In short, while I didn't get much out of the photographs, I did find the step-by-step instructions useful and helpful. That said, for the seasoned wedding photographer, this will be old hat, so don't expect too much!

Included a very helpful breakdown on the "typical" wedding day shooting along with approximate timelines.
