是归纳而非演绎的一本书，实用性很强但总是有局限的。看过《Lie to Me》大家应该都能够懂那种能够看透别人的震撼吧，但是这部剧的败笔在于莱特曼博士永远是正确的。如此英雄主义的剧作怎么可能被美国一直追捧呢？不过《Lie to Me》和这本书大概是很多人对心理学的理解了，觉得心理学就是用来看透别人的科学。且不论这样的说法是多么的片面与无理，既然说是“科学”，书中为何没有详解这些微表情微动作的生理成因呢？毕竟是实用者而非研究者，大抵我们在看的时候也不应该如此苛刻吧。
