Braving The Brand

Rate this book
With her smart mouth, Maggie Carter’s only focus is her college classes paired with the struggle of being on time to her clientele for her successful horse training business. Finding a man or a wild BLM mustang that would leave her breathless was not part of her already frazzled plan.

But after a chance encounter with deliciously handsome Deputy Marehk Wayne, Maggie’s life spins out of control leaving her mouthwatering for more and her legs clamped tightly shut in defense.

Marehk Wayne is Cocky, Calculated, and a man of the law. Woman were never more than a means of satisfaction in his opinion. But when he is left pulling over an incredibly attractive red head with an attitude, he wonders if his appetite for her will ever be satisfied…

With one simple action, they are both left on their knees as Maggie attempts building a relationship with an untamed BLM mustang. Driving them towards a life, neither knew they even wanted…

Uneven but Talented

Very interested in the story of horse rescue and adoption. Much less so in the graphic sex ( well-written though). The most difficult part of reading this is the almost perfect misuse of homophones ( Your for you're, where for were for we're etc. etc.)i which causes frequent confusion. I don't blame the author but poor education practices. I made frequent notations in case the writer is interested in improving the situation. The second most difficult aspect of reading this is waiting to see how it all ends (apparently in a second volume). Next time, spare me the menus and the minute by minute descriptions of daily !iving.
