I am a huge fan of R.H. Johnson's books, so it comes as no surprise to me that his latest book, China Mandate, is 5-stars from start to finish. In the China Mandate, R.H. Johnson takes readers on a fast-paced thrill ride that spans numerous countries, multiple threats, and a race to thwart a nefarious plan aimed at harming the United States. If you enjoy books that are packed with non-stop action, then this is the book for you! Typical of the author, China Mandate is both exceptionally written and flawlessly edited. The characters are unique and well-developed; the main character, Travis Delta, is smart, stealthy, and tough as nails. One other notable mention is that I learned a lot from this book in particular - without giving away the main conflict, I can say that R.H. Johnson does an amazing job at explaining scientific concepts so that everyone can understand. China Mandate is a brilliant addition to R.H. Johnson's growing list of 5-star books.

Another EXCELLENT excursion into possible reality that undoubtedly makes you believe that anything can happen. Although this adventure was certainly more technologically more in-depth than I could ever imagine, Johnson outdid himself, once again, in bringing foreign matter into context reader can understand....and enjoy. I'm anxiously awaiting his next foray into his imagination.

A well researched story about how science can be used for evil instead of for the benefit of mankind.. Johnson's presidents always seem to remind me of someone.

If you see Travis Delta anywhere near you, head the other way. Fast! This guy seems to draw assassins and other ne’er do wells of every persuasion wherever he goes. This really fun read has him defending himself and America everywhere from Alaska to the moon. He claims his biggest thrill is taking wildlife pictures in Alaska after chopping a cord of wood in record time. I think rather it is utilizing his various martial arts skills in dispatching numerous villains to their eternal rewards. Author Johnson adds another fun read to his growing list of excellent reads.

An excellent novel and a very enjoyable read. This is an adventure / thriller story that is fast-moving, realistic, and filled with twists and turns throughout. The scientific and political elements of this novel are intriguing to the point that it feels like you're watching the evening news. This author has a penchant for taking "just beyond the edge" political & military situations, and creating a very plausible adventure with sound reasoning with its characters.

Johnson has topped himself with book 2 Travis Delta series. Delta is one of the best black ops characters who s driven by patriotism and desire to make his country safer. The story could scare you silly because it could certainly be true. It’s face paced well written and I guarantee you won’t want to put it down. Can’t wait to see what’s up next for Delta!

A small group of off the books black ops agents who take care of dangerous threats to the US find themselves thwarting am attempt by China who is building a base on the back of the moon to enable them to launch missals at the US. Lots of action and close calls in this one.
