TOPSY-TURVY , the hilarious third book in the Bedtime Stories with Uncle Willy series, will have you laughing out loud. Silly Uncle Willy brought back lots of pictures from his trip to the Village of ComeGo , where everyone is confused. People there say hello when they leave, kids teach their parents how to ride a tricycle, cows play fetch, and many more silly situations! Perfect reading for bedtime with a smile! Recommended for kids ages 3 to 8. Checkout out Bedtime Stories with Uncle Willy Book I and Book II and triple the fun!!!
I always look forward to a new collection of Uncle Willy’s zany stories for preschool and primary grade children.
In Book 3, Uncle Willy tells the tale of a town named ComeGo where everything is topsy turvy. The children teach their parents basic skills like how to ride a swing or a bike. People say goodbye when they meet and hello when the leave. Animals behave strangely. Bears hang on trees like monkeys and cows play like puppies. Pigeons lick themselves like cats and people pull carts instead of horses. Children learn about opposites while having a good laugh.
The fun continues as readers are urged to create their own fanciful stories. They are presented with fifteen riddles and given four choices. Correct answers are given. These activities can be done with an adult or in a group with other children. I highly recommend the entire Uncle Willy series of books.
Topsy Turvy is another fun and educational book for children to enjoy. This series will have children thinking, laughing, and having a wonderful time learning how to rhyme and answer riddles.
The storyline is cleverly done in rhymes with beautiful illustrations that will delight children and keep them actively engaged. Uncle Willy will become a favorite bedtime book.
The author continues to create exceptional stories for children. She keeps in mind the importance of making reading a fun adventure to be shared with parents and children. MazorBooks are wonderful books to add to your children’s library. I highly recommend all these books.
Bitter is sweet, and down is up…great fun for learning
Author Sarah Mazor earned her degrees in business journalism and in psychology and now is an entrepreneur and a personal coach. The books Sarah publishes through MazorBooks intend to provide children and parents hours of bonding time and fun ways to promote children's cognitive abilities and enhance their self-confidence and self-esteem. She is joined with illustrator Sergii Zavadskyi whose images enhance Sarah’s story immensely.
TOPSY TURVY is Book 3 in Sarah’s popular Bedtime Stories with Uncle Willy series, and here’s hoping she continues to pen and publish these hilarious and very educational books for children.
Sarah opens her book with Uncle Willy’s return from travel, having visited the town of ComeGo where everything is topsy-turvy - right is left, up is down – ‘There’s confusion everywhere And there’s no way of knowing If people are sitting on their cars Are coming back or going.’ People say Hi when they mean Goodbye, cows jump and fetch like doggies, donkeys climb up mountains like goats, lions slurp and burp not roar, and on and hilariously on – all related in infectious rhyme and accompanied by terrific illustrations.
At book’s end Sarah includes special activities – think, imagine, write, draw - and Riddles to aid children in learning about opposites, and a little glossary that aids children in learning about words that may be new (graze, bleat, bray, off the mark, etc). Highly recommended not only for the learning at bedtime but also for the wonder of Sarah’s (and Sergii’s) talent!
Everything in the town of ComeGo isn't what it seems. Children will enjoy the playful rhyming words, learning opposites and giggle as each page turns. Bonus material in the back of the book is a nice touch. 🌠
Another great rhyming and silly book from Sarah! Kids will laugh and smile at these topsy turvy ideas and illustrations. Also, the riddles in the back of the book are a great way to teach opposites and rhymes.
