When Brasco catches Shea in a compromising situation, all trust is broken. Shea has her reasons for doing what she did, but what Shea failed to realize is that things aren’t always as they seem. Forgiveness is nowhere on Brasco’s mind, leaving Shea at a crossroad. Lost and confused, and for the first time in her relationship, unsure of what the future held for them, Shea is losing her mind. Will Shea and Brasco make it while trust and loyalty are put to the test?
Yaz and Asim are on the outs, typical. When Yaz’s secret was revealed, Asim didn’t know how to handle what she’d done. After hearing her reasoning, guilt overcame him. With all the trauma she’d been through, all she wanted was to be alone. She’s on a mission to find and fall in love with herself again. Refusing to ever fall in that deep depression again, Yaz distances herself and tries to cut Asim to of her life. Asim is trying his hardest to get back with her, but the only thing she’s concerned with is protecting her peace. Asim is relentless in his pursuit of Yaz. Will she give in?
Lai and Q are enjoying each other and their fresh relationship. Things are so easy with them, and they vibe without trying. The only thing standing in the way is that Lai Lai is in love with the pole. Q thought he was okay with it, but the more he fell for her, the bigger a problem it became. Q is exactly what lai Lai never knew she needed. She’s falling for him hard and fast. She’s always been strong-minded and independent and doesn’t take to kindly to him handing her an ultimatum. Stripping wasn’t something she just fell into. It was her passion, her dream. Will she choose love or her career?
I loved these characters so much and I hate to see them go. The growth that they showed between the two books was beautiful. Asim & Yaz had the most growth to me but the others showed maturity in their relationships as well as within themselves. Steen deserved to be hung from a power line naked😁
This was a good story It was wrapped up nicely I must say About midpoint in the Story I could not stand Q. But he want me over In the end All the characters were well-developed And a story had a nice flow Kudos to the author good job
All is well that ends well…..or does it? Q, Brasco, and Asim all have loose ends to tie up that will either make or break their relationship with their ladies. Seeing what comes next is what keeps you cheering and yelling from the side lines.
I loved it. I was happy that Lai Lai finally got the help she needed. Her and Q really surprised me I did not think they were good together at first. He really surprised me. Yaz was being a hypocrite to me at times. She expected him to continuously forgive her but couldn’t forgive him when he had trouble that last time. I can understand wanting to find herself but she was pregnant and anything could happen. I felt bad for Shea. I thought that Brasco was being difficult. I would’ve been snapped out on him. I’m happy he got it together though.
It was sad what happened to Yaz. Asim handled it though. I'm glad they got themselves together and made it official. Brasco was really hurt by Shea's actions because she thought he cheated on her. I'm glad they got passed it though. Lai Lai getting the help that she needed was for the best. Q being there to support her was a plus. They really make a good couple. I really enjoyed reading this book.
I love happy endings. This book was very emotional. Many rocky roads but all couples weather their storms. My first read by you but I will be checking you out! Great job!
