Freed of her deadbeat family, Hazel and Fanny are still living the good life in Palm Springs until weird, kid-genius nephew, Schroeder, and his mutt, Critter, show up to put a crimp in their style. Things really get dicey when Hazel manages to foist Schroeder off on her best friend, Louise. Another stint in jail, an airport drug bust, an altercation at the Coachella Music Festival and a senior dating service are only a partial list of her escapades.
