While busying myself with the things of this life, there were times when I would get an inspiration to write my thoughts; often time putting them into verse. These reflect some of my times of joy as well as those times when I struggled with my enemies. Life gives us the opportunity to taste the passions and joys that family and friends can provide. It also forces us to face the antagonisms of this world, the flesh and the Devil. Even though we face these things the Lord Jesus gives us a stay in the time of trouble.A few of these poems have been put to music, one in particular, “Jesus is the only way” was used for many years on our “The Old Country Church”.I truly hope you enjoy and are edified by these words of Inspiration and encouragement. I hope they will strengthen you in your resolve to serve Him.
