I have read all of your books and have truly enjoyed everyone. When I first saw the Essence of Us in its original format of 900 pages with the beautiful cover, I was so excited to read the book. In this day and age of novelettes where stories are so short with no development of characters, it was a pleasure to read the story as a trilogy, and I was not let down. Please continue to give us your stories because you have a true fan in me. I look forward to your well developed characters in the future.

Played with my emotions!
That's what book 2 of this series did! Love, angst, desire, jealousy and so many others...this book had me going through it! I was mentally worn out at the end. And I'm hoping to recover in time for book 3! This installment by far exceeded the first one, which at the end left me wondering what was left for Jas and Montana's story. Well Tiye you answered that question big-time! A whole lot!! Can't wait for the final installment!

A Thrilling Roller Coaster Ride Fukk 9f Emotions
In this book Montana was going through emotionally. Jasmine matured and their relationship was driving me crazy in a good way. I can’t wait for the conclusion in the final installment of Essence of Us. Tiye Love is becoming one of my favorite authors with her amazing stories.

Essence of me is Part II of Jasmine and Montana's love story. This book is better than the first. She's still the girl ordinaire and he's still the NBA super star extraordinaire. The difference in this book is despite all the difficulties they face, their love for each other grows.
It's unimaginable the things that happen that almost kills their relationship. She's still full of insecurities. He's afraid of his love for her because of what happened with his parents. He momentarily thinks she cheated on him and leaves her. She's struggling with law school, her family and friends, even his mother. He struggling with his fears as well as his NBA career.
However, Jasmine overcomes her insecurities and understands his fears. With her patience and love, he banishes his fears and loves her unconditionally. Are destined for a perfect future?

Okay...It Was A Little Better
This book wasn't as nerve racking as the first one but they still have a Lot of growing to do. Jasmine still has to many insecurities and Montana still have tantrums when he doesn't get his way and he still doesn't express his feelings enough. I'm on the fence with reading the last book because I'm not sure if I can take the drama coming next with them being happily engaged with a baby on the way.

This entire series is 🔥! From start to finish I was engrossed and nervous, shocked, entertained, happy, sad, thrilled and happy as all get out.
It’s a page turner with the pacing as smooth as silk. I loved these characters and their antics. Clear out a block of time and get ready for the ride of your life!
This is a connecting trilogy, meaning the first two books have cliffhangers, but the third...the third brings it home, lock stock and barrel 🙂.
I definitely recommend this book.

This is made for TV stuff!! I was really disappointed in how the 1st book ended but this author cleverly explained everything in book 2 and now I can’t get anything done today either because I need to read book 3. It’s hard for me to put it down because the author deal with every emotion and it’s so well written I’m frustrated with the characters 😩

Fell in love with these characters
I'm not really one for too much angst in a story but this one has the right mix. This author really fleshed out these characters to the point I felt like I knew them personally. The pacing was perfect. I didn't want the story to end but I look forward to reading the last book.

Okay now! All this drama Montana and Jas are gong through is too much. This is a roller coaster and carousel ride in one book. Glad Montana and his mom finally hugged. Cali is an angel. Now to see if all the drama is worth it and do they end up HEA. Good part 2.

Essence of Me (The Essence Series Book 2)
Will the drama ever quit? Nay. The road is still rocky with Montana and his moms and even girlfriend Jasmine. It's was just an ok read for me.
P.S. Book 3 should bring closure to this insecure relationship.

Captivated
Both Jas and Montana irked my nerves with the back and forth. I'm glad he got to the roots of his problem and worked things out with his family. This story will put you in your feelings. But I'm still captivated by it all.

Alright now! Things are moving in this story and it truly reveals that while we (meaning me :D) loved us some Montana in Book 1 and good portion of this book too, he has his issues as well (this is normal).
In this book, we deal with insecurities from both parties as well as the dreaded groupie that arouses when you have a man/woman in the limelight.
This was a solid 4 star read (it kept me up late just trying to finish it) and left me wanting part 3.

Fantastic Book
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between Jasmine and Montana! So happy they got their happy ever after! Fantastic book!

Jasmine and Montana are one very frustrating couple. On again, off again. I give this 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ because they are so cute and I love the drama. What else can happen?
