Heroine Alexis goes on a cruise ship to visit exotic places and to add some excitement to her life. While sight-seeing in a port-of-call she doesn’t get back to the ship on time and it sails without her. Hero Travis helps her out. Alexis is attracted to Travis, but it seems he has some secrets in his past…
This was a highly enjoyable read. I really liked the heroine Alexis. She was quite gutsy, trying to help Travis out. I liked the settings in this book and I was curious to see how everything would work out in the end.

A great summer romance, I actually really enjoyed the whole trying to trap a murderer part, made it have stakes! Pretty straightforward, romantic and entertaining.
