Corrupted by a 5 star banger

Brick is the ultimate gangsta. This storyline is everything. There's so much drama going own with each character that it has me on speed read. Murder,molestation, receipt, murder and family drama. One click! I guarantee you want be disappointed.

This book had most of the same issues as the first story, which isn’t surprising. It took me TWO WEEKS to finish, and it never takes me that long to read anything. This lets you know that I wasn’t feeling it. To be honest, the writing style is juvenile and needs a lot of work. Here are the list of some of the issues I had.

* Domestic violence is never cool. The fact that Zuri was cool with Brick hitting Deja was lame, and it didn’t matter how much they excused it due to what she did, it was still wrong. To be okay with a man beating a woman is crazy, because what makes you think he won’t do the same to you?
*The characters jumped from one idea to the next on the same paragraph, and most times it made zero sense to add.
* Misusing of words, and missing words from sentences. It was annoying and made the read even harder.
* More contradictions. When Zuri and Damon were talking about Kevin, she looked when he mentioned their relationship, yet in THE VERY NEXT sentence, she said she was the one who told him. Why would you act surprised he knew when it was you who told him in the first place?

Overall it wasn’t my cup of tea. In fact the only reason I read this one is because I don’t like to finish a book/series without reading it to the end. No lie though, I’m honestly looking forward to this one ending. I’m almost positive I won’t be reading anything else by this author.

Corrupted !!!!

This book is so good. Where do I begin???. First Zuri and Daman has me floored. That relationship and love they have is a mess. They had a whole relationship like that was normal. Brick.... That man is something. I mean he dirty as hell,but he's so sexy. Still, what he did to Legend blows me. Gucci ain't no better. They both made me angry,but I understood Gucci's emotions about his mom. Those men are a mess. Blood against blood. And Mehanzi...I understood she's mourning and just all over the place with Gucci's life hanging in the balance,but she just trifling. And Mel...knows the truth about the shooting and still did the unthinkable with Mehanzi. They all a mess. This book was awesome!!!!!

A crazy book

Brick is something else with his self like why shoot your own cousin. I hope Gucci pulls through and make Mel pay for what he has done. That damen is crazy and needs to rot in jail for ever. Kyra should be tired of getting that azz handle to her by zuri. Zani knows she crossed the line by sleeping with Mel. This was a good book to read but these characters needs some help

Good entertaining read from beginning to end. That ending thou you got me never saw that coming. Love Brick and Zuri but they are going to have problems when she find out he killed her brother. Damian is getting on my nerves he need to leave Zuri alone so she can live a normal life. Great job Destiny Skai can't wait for part 3.

This book was just as good as the first word. It’s crazy how the main characters are intertwined with one another. I hate that Brick had to do what he did to Gucci because Zuri’s sister loves him. I just want to see Daman get what he deserves, he is one sick and deranged man. Can’t wait to see what book 3 has in store.
