I swear I was born with a book in my hand and that is how I spent most of my childhood. That was fine until I got older and the voices in my head demanded to be heard and I started to write.
The voices are no quieter but there are less of them.

There are many islands offshore from Seattle in the picturesque Pacific Northwest. Hope Island, created by Ann B. Harrison in her Hope Harbor Series is especially perfect compared to the others. This review highlights book #3, Don’t Let Go. Hope Island is accessed by the daily ferry that runs back and forth to the mainland. The founding family of the island is the Hope family. This series concerns the Hope siblings.

Aggie Hope had gone to college in Seattle and worked there afterwards. Then she abruptly returned to the island, bought a bakery and locked herself away working third shift. It has been a couple of years and everyone close to her is perplexed by the changes in her life. No one is more perplexed than Dr. Liam Davidson, her brother’s partner and best friend. Aggie and Liam had been sweet toward each other since they were kids. Now she systematically avoids him. The upcoming marriage of Aggie’s brother to her best friend is the catalyst that pushes Aggie and Liam closer for a successful wedding day.

Liam has his heart set on Aggie. He always has. Because of a horrendous event in which Aggie was the victim, she believes she is not worthy of Liam. Only Aggie’s best friend knows the truth and she is sworn to secrecy. Liam and Aggie run hot and cold until Aggie gets so upset, she tells Liam the truth. He doesn’t fault her because she was the victim. He faults himself for not protecting her. The rift widens as pressure builds. A final determination will be made! What does fate have in store for Aggie and Liam? Will Hope Island’s magic help Aggie and Liam?

This is the third book in the Hope Harbor series. Each book is a complete stand alone and is based about the Hope family which happens to live on the island off of Seattle called Hope Harbor. I am in love with this big extended Hope Family. This is Agnes or Aggie's story and what a story it is. It is one that so many of us share with her and one our author tells with honestly, bravery and truth to what happens in real life. And then we have Dr Liam Davidson. He grew up with Aggie and is her brother's best friend and partner in the practice. He could never figure out where they went wrong and their lives separated instead of connecting when she came back to Hope Harbor. Life ... Family by blood and of the Heart all on the island of Hope Harbor.

Inner strength

Love this series. Going through life is always a struggle. Family makes us stronger. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I loved the story between Liam and Aggie....such a heartbreaking story......loved the happy ending.
