Trish Heinrich’s steamy romance is fueled by caffeine and panic. When not daydreaming about the new book boyfriend she’s creating, Trish is geeking out with her two kids about superheroes, cuddling with her husband or bingeing Lucifer…again.
Devil’s Temptation is her first straight up romance and is the first book in her Celestial Superheroes Series. She writes Urban Fantasy under T.L. Heinrich because there are just too many stories in her brain for one pen name.
You can catch her on Instagram under @trishheinrich, or on Patreon as Trish Heinrich. She doesn’t promise to post every day, but she does promise weird, geeky fun with the occasion man chest thrown in for good measure.

Absolutely fabulous last book in the series. Alice was an amazing main character. She has to disguise herself as a crippled heiress in order to get revenge. Couldn’t stop reading until I found out the end.

This is the third book in an incredible series and has spoilers for previous books. If you haven’t read them yet go grab Serpent’s Return and Shadow’s Torment, block out some time because you are not going to want to put them down, and then rush back to find how it all comes together in Steel’s Fate.

Serpent’s Return started as an origin story and coming of age for three young heroes, and ended in what could be described at best as a devastating pyrrhic victory. In the aftermath, the three childhood best friends set off in different directions. Alice, feeling abandoned, throws herself into secretly training to take down Phantasm in a quest for vengeance while into learning how to play the ingenue heiress. Surviving vapid dates might be the more difficult task.

Marco and Lionel split ways in a quest for a cure for Lionel’s aliment, and Shadow’s Torment shows that there is a lot more going on with the ailment than they originally thought, and this nefarious plot involves children. This background is integral to the happenings in Steel’s Fate.

Now they are all back in Jet City, but are they still working toward the same goal? What are they willing to do to achieve their goals? Are they even pursuing the right villain?

This action filled series is strongly character driven, even the support characters and villain are well nuanced. Part of what makes this such a great read is the rich, believable relationships between the various characters, the complex motivations (including those of the villain) and the diversity of the cast. Rose and Miss Jones were a couple stand out support characters.

The love triangle takes a bit of a back seat in this book but does come to a swoon-worthy conclusion right at the end. Though the heat ramps up, it does stay clean (barely).

And the end……OMG while it is not a cliff hanger, there are SO many questions left unanswered! Which is a good thing – because that means lots more books to come in this fabulous series! A blurb at the end mentions a couple spin off series starring some characters I was hoping to see more of (squee!) but you will have to read for yourself to see who they are because spoilers!
