Dr. Atiq Ur Rehman, born in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the late eightees, hails from a respectable family. He completed his early education until matriculation at the Army Public School (Iqbal) in Nowshera Cantonment. His pre-medical studies took place at Islamia College Peshawar, leading him to pursue a medical degree at Saidu Medical College, Swat, affiliated with Khyber Medical University. Before commencing his medical studies, Dr. Atiq spent a year and a half in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Peshawar.

Following his graduation, Dr. Atiq Ur Rehman embarked on a journey of postgraduate training. He completed two years of FCPS training in Internal Medicine at Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, and extended his expertise with three years of FCPS training in Pulmonology at Combined Military Hospital, Peshawar, and Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar.

Dr. Atiq's professional endeavors include roles as a Field Medical Officer with Integrated Health Services and as a General Physician in various healthcare setups, including Alshifa Trust Eye Hospital.

Beyond his clinical contributions, Dr. Atiq Ur Rehman has made significant strides in the literary world. He is the author of several publications, including "First Aid and Patient Safety," a crucial resource for providing first aid in settings with limited medical facilities. His commitment to medical writing extends to "Cat-B Aid," a guide for pharmacy technicians seeking licensure. "Disease Compendium" and "Pathology & Pharmacology" cater to clinical infants and beginners aiming to grasp the basics of pathology and pharmacology. "PathoTech," a condensation of pathology and technology, targets those working in medical diagnostic laboratories.
