This was a fast read, more a novella. It was a glimpse into quite a few characters lives that I have only just met in this book. I won a copy and now that I have read these brief stories I will definitely be reading more by the author! I need to know the background stories!

If you know anything about me, I love the swoon worthy happily ever after that come along with romance, but I ESPECIALLY love epilogues that give us that extra little happy after the happily ever after.

So what I’m saying is: basically this book is made for me. Twin Bay Christmas: Finally Family follows all the complex and endearing characters we met in Held & Hidden and gives them a little extra holiday happy.

It starts with Scarlet and Nick from Held who are now happily living their power couple (I mean… mafia power couple but hey even monsters need a little love) complete with holiday festivities at a level Nick never realized he wanted, but absolutely did.

Then the adorably somehow still somewhat pure Tommy and Anna that we rooted for in both Held and Hidden get a wee surprise when all they wanted was a tree. I might’ve “awwwww”ed an embarrassing amount here.

Nataly and Gavin haven’t played huge roles in the previous Twin Bay stories, but they get a little dose of holiday joy in a rather heart wrenching way. And their story is coming soon!

Finally they all come together with Rico and Marianna in a heartwarming ending that you once never believed could happen.

If you need a little post holiday happy that’s a quick read, but sigh inducing nonetheless, check out Twin Bay Christmas: Finally Family today. If you haven’t read Held or Hidden, you need to start there to get the full impact of all the starry eyed joy.

Everyone's Christmas and celebration

Twin Bay Christmas: Finally Family is a short story that is part of The Twin Bay Saga. There are stories about each of the couples and then shows them coming together to celebrate Christmas. This is a nice written, fun, engaging short story with great Christmas and Holiday cheer. A nice addition to the series.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

A wonderful collection of little Christmas stories. I haven't read any previous books from this author with these characters but that didn't stop me from enjoying the stories. Now I definitely want to read her other books. You'll find yourself being drawn in from the beginning and falling in love with all the characters. Be prepared to not getting anything done because you won't want to put the book down once you start reading.

I loved this little group of Christmas stories. It was so much fun to see a story from each of my favorite characters. It was enough to satisfy me but still kept me wanting more. I feel like I'm part of their family, enjoying Christmas with them. I can't wait for the next book in the twin bays series, I know it will be amazing, just like the rest! Tk has this amazing ability of drawing you into this dark world and making you want all the stories she could possibly give you. You wont be able to put it down and definitely wont be disappointed.

Oh I loved these little holiday catch-up with our favorite couples. They give the holidays a special meaning.

I felt their happiness jump off the pages and it definitely brightened up my day. A great bonus. Loved each one and enjoyed visiting our couples again. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

“It's Christmas Eve, Big Daddy.”

Its well known by now that Twin Bay fanatic....if it has ANYTHING at all to do with my fav guys & girls from that "world" I am ready to devour every little morsel. There is no such thing as too much or too little from this series for me, so when I found out about this little gem I knew I needed it on my list. And while it doesn't offer any new drama or new big storylines, it is JUST what fans need to catch up with all our beloved characters while also giving us a bonus sneak peek of the next two couples to have their story told. Short & sweet, but 100% worth the read.

Nataly smiled and brandished her hand. “Yep. Just a little while ago. Gav’s going to glue my pieces together until forever.” He snagged her other hand, pressing it to his mouth. “Sure am.”

Book Facts: Catch up with the characters of Twin Bay during Christmas time with FIVE short stories featuring our favorite residents. All completely safe & fun. Plus two Ch. 1 sneak peeks into both Nat & Gav's and Katelyn & Anthony's books (coming mid 2020). This should be read after books 1 & 2 of the Twin Bay series for the best reading experience.

Timeline of Thoughts:
Starting: Anything that takes me back to Twin Bay is a very welcome distraction.
20%: I forget how much I love these two.... they will forever be the OG's to me!
31%: How freaking perfect, and that name!
35%: These two hold the most special part of my heart....I ADORE these two on an unhealthy level.
40%: Oh my heart, you are not broken sweet girl.... way too bring the feels out of me.
46%: There are no other couple more "made" by the literary GODS for each other as these two.
50%: The icing on the couple cake, I am way too happy for Rico than I should be.
60%: Well its smart, but I cannot see that working well lol.
61%: Oh Thomas.....
67%: He is such a big softie....SIDE NOTE: I NEED his story!
83%: My fav couple, I cannot wait this long for more.
85%: Why don't I remember Anthony? Time to backtrack.
Finished: Can we get a Valentine's Day check-in? I can't wait until April, I will DIE.

"The Five":
Loves from Book: Nick's "snow excitement", "Yahtzee", "Big Daddy & Bitty" EVERYTHING, the dinner, Killer PERIOD.
Quotes:
“Check it out, they even fit.” He flexed and curled his fingers with ease. “They'd better. I had to call and ask if they had a size between Shaquille O'Neal and a Yeti.”
-Nick & Scarlet

“Thomas, you could wear a bunny suit and hop down main street and still be the manliest, sexiest guy in the whole world.”
-Anna

“What kinda life is it, tryna polish my pieces if they keep getting rusted again?” She sniffled. “And what if you run outta glue?” He leaned back and caught her gaze. “The best life. And I will never, ever run out of glue. And if your pieces shattered into dust, I'd crawl around on my hands and knees until I found every last speck and put you back together again.”
-Nataly & Gavin

“Nothing about you is forgettable.”“Mmm. Mr. DiGiovanni, flattery will get you everywhere. You must be angling for your presents.” He chuckled, brushing his stubble against her skin. “Soon, you’ll be Mrs. DiGiovanni, eh? That’ll be my present.”
-Marianna & Rico

“Bring it when ya want, we’ll be there. Big daddy says we have a new posi—”“Nat.” Gavin cleared his throat. “Private info, baby girl.”
-Nataly & Gavin

Final Thoughts:
1. Fav Story: Nataly & Gavin's Perfect Present. It isn't just because they are my fav couple, but because their story was so heartfelt. It's such an impactful read in such a small amount of space.
2. I loved how the first 3 stories all led us to Marianna & Rico's, as if theirs was the epic conclusion, the Christmas version of a HEA. How they all came together, with a special kind of surprise for Marianna that made my heart happy.
3. Killer is my fav secondary character that isn't completely connected with the main ones, so getting a sweet story showing a different side of him really made me even more eager for his book.
4. I love how Barber is able to tell a complete story without adding a ton of fluff to make it connectable.....all five stories could have stood alone.
5. Sneak Peeks: Anything I can get of Big Daddy & Bitty I'm game for, & their excerpt promises to bring an all new danger for them to fight....I cannot wait to see Gav defend his girl. As for Katelyn & Anthony, I don't even remember him and I am estatic about seeing their story play out as well.

“What I want . . . is to give you my whole life, and I want you in it. I want your bad days, your good days, the days where we do nothing, days where we do everything—all of it.”

Overall, it was just what I needed to fuel my obsession with Twin Bay and help carry me over until Book 3 comes out. The way these guys have come together as a true family, I just know that whoever they face next has no idea what they are up against. Barber did it again.....gave me just enough of my favs to keep me addicted & NEEDING more.

“I love you.” “I love you, too. And I love that we are all finally a family.”

I read this first before i read its rightful place in the Twin Bay Series. I re-read it when i read my way through the series in order. Now A Mafia series filled with sex, crimes, and tension doesn't scream Christmas BUT this novel does well at showing even the seedy mob bosses and bodyguard's go home for a little R&R around the holidays.

I have NOT read the previous Twin Bay book Series but I was able to enjoy the individual stories of the characters. The individual stories come together at the end to witness them have an amazing Christmas.
A few swear words but nothing I even really noticed but know fans of really Clean Romantic series will notice.
This book has the wonders of fresh falling snow, a fluffy white kitten that needs a home, and the simple pleasure of finding the perfect gift.
I love the line "There is something so magically ordinary about this moment."
That is best part of the Holidays afterall.
