The author observes identity from various angles, introducing theorists such as Foucault, Baudrillard, Freud, Fanon, and Bhabha. The topics range from narrative, difference, unconscious, ethnicity, nationality to postmodernity.
The good thing is, the book is comprehensive and plainly written. But I was distracted by his frequently-put questions and bits of life story (I assume, of his) at the end of each chapter.
