This book was a hot disjointed mess with no real substance to the plot. The author left us with more questions than answers. She didn't go into a lot of details about Ahmair's background or how he found out Rich was his brother. The answers Ricardo gave him were vague as hell with no real explanation. It was never revealed Daniella was the one pushing the drugs in Paradise. While she didn't necessarily do anything dirty to Zola, she's still untrustworthy. Who would want her sneaky azz as a friend?!!! And, what's going on with Zola and her parents?!!! The last we saw of them, they were running her down like a dog telling her how much of a disappointment she was. What's the status of her relationship with them?!!! Do they know she's pregnant?!!! This is something we should've gotten closure on. Ben Josephs is a new narrator for me. He did a decent enough job but, I wasn't that impressed. I could take him or leave him. Her Goon, His Eden was disappointing. The storyline just did not come together very well. It started out decent enough then, it fizzled into boring with too much left unanswered.

Whew!! Rich & Zola! Yess, honey!!

I loved this book from beginning to end! I loved the character development. Rich wasn’t just your average drug dealer and Zola wasn’t the typical “damsel in distress” female lead. I loved that Zola had confidence and was bold and full of life. She fit so perfectly with Rich. They made my heart melt!

Bravo!

Couple Goals!

Zola was the truth! I loved that she bossed up, and didn't let anyone make her who she wasn't. She forged her own way, and struggled until she found "him". Rich, was wealthy and powerful, but his heart and soul were empty. Bumping into Zola, and forcing his way into her life, awakened his heart and brought him peace. She fought him every step of the way, but he won her over with his charm. They were so good to, and for each other. Glad Ahmair got his! 🐍! Great story! 👍👍👍

Amazing

This story was everything and you wrote the hell out of it. From the first page I was hooked and I didn’t want it to end. Rich was all that and more. He wanted Zola and he wasn’t going to give up until he got her. Zola was a strong woman who did she wanted and take no mess off of anyway. These two together were a perfect match. You can’t go wrong with a AP book!

Zola and Rich (Matthew) didn’t meet in the most conventional way, but Rich wasn’t a man that liked to take unnecessary risks. He was a calculated business man that handled his business by any means necessary. Zola was trying to be a boss in her own right, of her self and her own choices for her life. She wasn’t a push over just because she had manners and was humble. And she captivated Rich on so many levels and brought out the best in him. I wasn’t sure about Danielle but she proved to be a loyal friend through and through. Great book, but Ms Pynn hardly if ever disappoints.

Cute romance story

I like Zola because she had lower her standard and she didnt crumble underneath pressure.. She had a ground heart.
Rich was smart but didn't realize he had a snake in his camp.

Her Goon, His Eden

Perfect title for this book! I loved how the relationship formed and how it evolved. In so many words Matthew “Rich” Lawson is his own type of book bae. He gets stuff done with telling you twice 😩

Boss moves

I loved this book. Zola wasn't some weak women in need of saving. She held on to her morals and didn't bend them. The connection her and rich had was pure.

Love these 2

Rich was so good for Zola. Her parents were butts and they made her life a living hell. The saying parent don't drive your kids to wrath. They must've missed that part.

Rich is my GOON!!

Rich was cold blooded and heartless. He didn’t have to sweat to get what he wanted until he meet Zola. She was quick, witty & feisty and was quick to remind Rich that she didn’t need his help and she would be fine all on her own. She was struggling not only with finding a job but proving to her father that she didn’t need him. She was having this internal battle as well because Rich came in and instantly her life changed and she felt that it was no different than her father being controlling in her life too. I just wanted to yell out, “GIRL! Let’s switch!!” 🙄😂. Pride to the side, live yo best life🤣! Zola’s bestfriend Daniella was annoying & I was suspicious of her from jump. I get that she was trying to protect her from from the rumors about Rich but Zola a grown woman. Then for her to talk slick as if Zola wasn’t giving her a way out of stripping. I thought her parents where going to find out the details about Rich and come back and drag her back to Georgia by her new growth Chile a drink is what I need🍷. Overall the book was great

A Rich Type of Love

Let me just say Matthew (Rich) is what Zola needed and Zola is what Matthew needed. Being that the both of them come from 2 different backgrounds they clicked. In a way that neither one of them probably thought of with their first run in (literally) encounter. I like how once Matthew knew who Zola was he wasn’t feeling her being a worker in his club. When he fired her I was like “Damn Zola why did you have to be on level ten” BUT when he offered her the accountant job I was like YES! As for Ahmair it was sad he hated on Matthew so much BUT at the same time I understand being that Matthew’s father was also Ahmair’s father which sucked that Matthew didn’t know. Oh and Daniella (Zola’s best friend) is a REAL best friend. I thought she was turning on Zola but all along she was loyal to Zola. SO was Gregory who was the needed mediator that Matthew and Zola needed at times. Great Book especially with this being my first read from this author. Definitely looking forward to more books from this author!

Aubree Pynn never misses when it comes to her writing. I loved everything about this book from beginning to end. The title of the book is so fitting for the way the story was written. Rich was Zola's Goon and Zola was truly Rich's Eden.

Zola is a character that I instantly fell in love with. She is strong and a bosswoman who doesn't let anyone dictate her or her life. She will forge her own path and not let anyone stop her, even if she has to struggle to get there. Rich is a rich and powerful man who has everything that one could ask for, but his heart was still empty. There was a part of him that was lacking something, but he never had the urge to find out and fill it.

That's until he met Zola. Having to work to have a place in her life brought him peace that he didn't know he was missing. Zola's determination and independence intrigued Rich, as he had never encountered someone so strong-willed before. He admired her resilience and the way she fearlessly pursued her dreams.

At first, Zola didn't want anything to do with Rich, but as time passed and they spent more time together, she was able to see a side of him that no one had ever seen before. She brought out the best in him and made him feel alive in ways he never thought possible. Their relationship was beautiful, and they grew to love each other deeply.

Another great book by Aubree!

Gangsta love....

"Rich" and Zola's story reminded me of a lot of Chelsea Marie's book "I Should've Chosen You." Both books had hardcore men that would do anything to protect their love. The men were hard on the exterior but soft internally for one woman. It was just one woman that could break through that outer shell and just bring peace while she is doing it. Zola was that woman for "Rich." Zola's personality was just as headstrong as "Rich" was I did not know if those two would make it or not. She had to be because of her parents but that personality won over Rich. He found his forever in her.

Ms. Pynn did it again she came through with another great read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. She made sure that you knew from this reading that behind every strong man stood an even stronger intelligent woman.

Download and enjoy the ride.

okay Mr Goon

Rich & Zola were each others missing link that brought forward confidence for Zola and inner peace ☮️ for Rich…their relationship happened so fast but Zola didn’t make it easy but he kept chasing….Daniella had me scared for a minute i though she was going to snitch thinks she was saving Zola but she was definitely 💯 about her girl now Ahmeer was was more angry than jealous that he wasn’t acknowledged as his brother or the fathers son (why didn’t the father claim him it’s not like he cheated) but how would Rich know if nobody told him…now Zola parents were a whole vibe the way her dad takes down to her about her choice to live on her terms and not be controlled and her mom just criticized…..I need a part 2 cause Gregory needs to find some peace and Daniella needs to find her calling and I guarantee dad & mom will need Zola cause daddy into something dirty

I'm A Fan

I started reading Aubree over the past few months. I am a fan, and her writing is really goid. I enjoyed this book. I wanted more descriptions. I never really "saw" Zola. The physical description of her was somewhat lacking. The same went for Rich. The details matter to me. For the lack of descriptions and character development, I deducted a star. Nevertheless, the writing was solid, and I enjoyed the story. I wanted more, and that's the trademark of a good story. Bravo!

Zola and Rich

This was a cute and quick read. I don’t understand why the illegitimate siblings always take issues out with their siblings who nothing of their existence. I do get the bitterness and anger they feel. Zola and Rich was cute. They fed off each other. The way he cane to her rescue with her parents. I don’t like them and he wanted to unleash on them. I’m glad Daniella came through to help her figure Ahmair out. I almost thought she was gonna turn on Zola, but she cane through. Good job!!!

My first read

Zola is a woman after my own heart. She's beautiful, smart, relentless, fortuitous, fierce, and independent. She finds a way to handle things until Rich gives her no other choice. For him, Zola provides things that h desperately seeks, love, peace, and a family. He gives her a safe haven and the revelations that she can be independent while still depending on him. This is my first time reading this author's book and I will be reading more. This story is filled with twists and drama

Love So True

I love how well Rich and Zola meshed together even though she tried to fight it but he was very persistent. I like that as Zola was elevated that she elevated Daniella right along with her and Daniella put Zola on game about what Ahmair had going on. Gregory stayed loyal to Rich and Ricardo unlike Ahmair who got what he deserved in the end. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to see what's up next.

Amazing

This story was amazing. I thought it was messed up with Rich close friend was doing because of his jealousy for the empire but at the same time I guess I can understand but he should have told him who he really was maybe they could have ran the empire together and Rich could have one day let him have the drug gang part while he do the legit side but greedy blinds you. I guess he deserved what he got and Rich found out who he could really trust in the end.

Just that straight love 💕💕💕

I really did like this book the story was excellent. Rich was so serious about Zola when you read the book you'll see what I mean. Zoila was just what he needed and I like the fact that she had a really good friend Daniella. Definitely would recommend this book.

Goon’s love

Rich finally met his match with Zola. Smart, witty and beautiful and someone who may knock him off his game. Rich worked 10x harder to get Zola and I loved how she kept him on the chase. Minor errors that didn’t take away the story and I was very happy about that. Some parts were predictable but I’m happy with it wasn’t so dramatic but I definitely recommend.

Meh...

Too many mushy moments. Story was disjointed and didn’t have enough details or insight into there relationship. Plus I hate a story where the H bosses the h around “because of love” and the H goes along with it cause of love. Ex. Him: Pack yo shit you moving in with me. Her: that’s how you ask? Him:Yup Her:ok. 🤨😒
