The Chronicles of Cassidy #5

Vampire Hunting Isn't for Morons

Rate this book
Walking around in other people's heads can get messy... especially if those people are vampires.Learning that I have the powers to read vampires' minds might make me an invaluable part of the LIGHTS team, but it's a lot to swallow, especially now that I've moved to Kansas City full-time. I miss my friends, my parents, my old life, but I'm also excited about what's to come.

Sometimes, it's hard for me to tell which of my sides is the true me--the hunter or the vampire--and it just takes one tricky hunt to get me all off kilter. Can I get myself back together again before my sister Cadence needs me to help rescue our cousin in Melbourne, or should my team be worried that the vampires have infiltrated me?

My name is Cassidy Findley, and this is my life as a teenage Vampire Hunter.

The Chronicles of Cassidy is a retelling of The Clandestine Saga specifically for middle grade through high school readers told from the perspective of high schooler Cassidy Findley.

I.D. Johnson

ID Johnson wears many hats: mother, wife, editor, tutu maker, and writer, to name a few. Some of her favorite people are the two little girls who often implore that she "watch me!" in the middle of forming finely crafted sentences, that guy who dozes off well before she closes her laptop, and those furry critters at the foot of the bed at night. If she could do anything in the world, she would live in Cinderella's castle and write love stories all day while sipping Dr. Pepper and eating calorie-less Hershey's kisses. For now, she'll stick to her Dallas-area home and spending her days with the characters she's grown to love.

This is a fantastic series with Cassidy and the Vampire world. The Author grabs you right from the first page to the end. with Cassidy being in School, and the Emotions and Personality of Cassidy shines through. You feel like your right there with the Characters living vicariously. I definitely recommend this must read.

Love this series

This is Clandestine Series told thru the eyes of Cadences sister Cassidy! The writing is so well done that you can hear the teenage voice of Cass in your head being the typical flip know every thing already teenager. Except because of Cass being a Hybrid, she does know a lot of things! I love seeing her mature and watching this story from her POV!

I enjoyed this book, but I think it would have been better if I had read the others in this series and the related series first. There are some light hearted moments along the way. Brandon is a sweet boyfriend to Cassidy. The ending was a let down for me. Not really a cliffhanger but not an HEA either.
