Baseball runs in the Swift family’s blood, it’s part of their DNA.

Charismatic Memphis Mavericks catcher Atticus is used to being pursued. Then he spots Charlotte across the room. Why isn’t she paying him any attention?

As a respected sports agent, Brick keeps focused on his clients. Old wounds have blocked the path to his heart. All that changes when January ignites a flash fire that burns away the scars.

A great family series about three sexy southern men who get ran over by love.

In The Curve - Atticus Swift a sexy southern playboy who doesn't know what hits him when he meets single mom Charlotte and her daughter Malory. Atticus is the catcher for the Memphis Maverick and he can have his pick of women but after meeting Charlotte, the only woman that gets him going is her. He never thought he would fall for one woman, never the less a single mom, but even Malory steals a bit of his heart.

In The Closer - We get Brick Swift, older brother to Atticus and sports agent.

Brick lost so much 10 years ago and he thought he would never fall in love again. But when January, a fellow agent introduces herself to him at an event, he knows he's in some serious trouble.

January is 40 and not looking for a forever love, but Brick Swift can surely provide her with some fun and friendship, right? A woman can be just friends with a guy... Maybe.

January and Brick were fun and sexy. An Instalove perfect novella.

The Cannon - Bristol Swift, she's not impressed with the sports life. She's had enough of it in her life with her brothers. And Sawyer Tom on the outside looks like the man of any woman's dreams. But his life is filled with nothing but heartbreak and pain. These two, their chemistry is hot from the start. What a great way to end the series and the Epilogue will get you right where it counts - in the heart.

The curve
That was one tough topic the author chose to write about. She explores the loss of a loved one through three characters: a man who lost his son, a woman who lost her sister, and a boy who lost his parents. Three colors of grief and pain.

Parish has become a recluse writer since he lost his little boy in the most horrible way. He dulls his pain with alcohol–a lot–and meaningless hookups. He even has distanced himself from his family. He’s only vaguely aware of his surroundings, until Scarlett and Sam come to live in the house next door. He’s the dark grief, the one that drowns you and never let you go.

Sam is Scarlett’s nephew, and she got custody of him after her sister and her husband died in a car accident. She has no idea of how to take care of a teenager, and that takes up so much of her mind that she doesn’t really have time to grieve. Until something reminds her that her sister is gone. She’s the grey grief, like a stormy sky before the rain.

Sam has not only lost his parents, but also lost himself. He tries various things to ease his pain, like trying to be someone else, older, or on the opposite clinging to his past routines. In the end, it is by building a new life with his aunt and their neighbor that he’s going to reinvent himself. He’s the white grief, a dense fog in which to lose oneself.

With grief in common, they connect, they butt heads, they help each other. As they don’t experience pain the same way, they don’t really understand each other unless they communicate. Which they try to do, not always successfully.

Especially during the big conflict. It felt contrived. The way Scarlett reacted seemed like she didn’t know Parish at all, when he was actually a hero. And she refused to talk it out. It was a bit out of character in my opinion.

The romance overall left me frustrated. There was a lot of lust for sure, and they probably become misery friends, sharing a similar pain and trying to ease it in each other, but I didn’t see love. Love doesn’t turn its back like Scarlett does during the big conflict.

The narration was excellent. Both narrators know how to make the listener feel all the feels. They’re also good at the sexy times. Good balance!

The closer
It may have been the most emotional story in this box set. It follows the oldest Swift child, Brick, who’s in his forties and has sworn off love after a personal tragedy. Until he meets January, also in her forties, and a sports agent too. There’s attraction and lots of common ground between them. After several missed opportunities, they start a casual thing, that turns more serious as time goes by. And then she ends up pregnant.

I absolutely loved that the characters were in their forties. They weren’t always acting exactly like their age, but with people with no strings attached, their more playful manners could be understandable. Their fast friendship and growing feelings weren’t part of their long term plans, and I enjoyed seeing them learning how to navigate around them.

The narrators from the previous book come back for this one, and again they nail it. Especially the male narrator who almost made me cry in Brick’s saddest moments. Not a lot of drama–at least not in their relationship–and many romantic moments made the story a delightful read for sure.

The cannon
Please give me the independent professional woman and the playful younger puppy of a man any day! Add to it some deeper topics, like kids in foster care, family tragedies, and missing siblings, and you get a good love story.

Sawyer grew up in the system, not always in the best environment, and was lucky to become a baseball player at a late age. Closed to Atticus and Brick Swift, he feels immediately attracted to they sister when he meets her. He decides that he’ll woo her until she can’t resist anymore. And you know what? It was charming and fun to see the length he was ready to go to win her heart.

They were a sexy couple. I also loved watching them connect through Sawyer’s knowledge of the system and Bristol’s inability to conceive. They were clearly made for each other, despite the rocky start–Bristol has no interest in sports or baseball players, even avoids them. I hadn’t seen so much seduction and chemistry in a while.

Narrators changed this time, and though the female narrator did a perfect Bristol, I felt the male narrator wasn’t as good as Sawyer. He lacked the playfulness I associated with the character. Still a pretty good listen!

Conclusion
Comprised of two shorter stories and a longer one, all with a good mix of fun, sexiness and emotions, voiced by very good narrators, it’s a nice collection to listen to.

The Curve - Being sidelined with an injury is a baseball player’s worst nightmare. But not being able to play leaves Atticus Swift more time to do other things- like fall in love. Charlotte Bay's priority is her daughter Mallory. Disfigured by a fireworks accident, Mallory has had a rough couple of years. When Atticus first sees Charlotte he has an instant attraction to the single mother and works hard to win her over. Will Charlotte give him a chance to prove he is no longer a player? Or will she fall more in love with him when he also puts Mallory first? There is nothing better than baseball and romance. Great characters and a heartwarming storyline. A must read.
The Closer - I fell in love with Brick when he was part of Atticus' story and loved him even more now. With great emotional baggage Brick has put his love life on hold and has concentrated on his career. It is not until he meets January at a work function that his need to find love again comes forward. But can January wipe away the tragedy he has had to overcome? Or will Brick forever be alone and lonely? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that was both heart wrenching as well as heartwarming this was a fantastic read. I cannot wait for The Swift sister to get her HEA.
The Cannon - Make sure you have Kleenex for this one. Bristol Swift despises everything to do with baseball that is until Sawyer "The Cannon" Tom joins the Mavericks and has his eyes set on her. Through his Texas charm he wins her heart. But will the baggage he brings to the table with his foster care history be too much for him to work through to become part of the Swift clan? Or will Sawyer and Bristol make the perfect pair that can get through anything life throws in their way? Highly emotional...I must have ugly cried twice and yelled at my Kindle once. The two characters have so much love in their hearts but they are both unsure if they can give it away. I felt their connection with every turn of the page. This was the best book in the series.

4* Fun Filled Sexy Swift Family Stars

The Curve

I enjoyed this single parent sports romance. Atticus is a sexy and very charming baseball catcher. When he catches the eye of the beautiful single mother Charlotte, he will do everything in his power to make her his. He also has the challenge of getting to know and gaining the trust of her daughter Mallory who is reeling from burns she suffered in an accident and being the victim of bullying. The chemistry between Charlotte and Atticus was palpable.

The Closer

This story is about Brick who is the eldest sibling of the fabulous Swift family. Besides being sexy as hell, he is reluctant to find love again after his tragic past and opening up his heart again. When he meets January there is a connection between them that he cannot deny and together they slowly break down each other’s barriers and learn to love again. This was such a beautiful love story of a much more mature couple coming together unexpectedly.

The Cannon

From the first page read I fell in love with Bristol Swift and Sawyer Tom. I enjoyed reading how Sawyer, “ruffled Bristol’s feathers” in the beginning and how she tried so hard not to react to the instant chemistry that was felt between the two of them.

The story of Sawyer and Bristol is so much more than the two of them falling in love. Together they have to navigate and deal with the unexpected issues that present themselves. There were some very heartfelt moments as well as some laugh out loud moments too. The secondary characters were so adorable and loving.

This was my first time reading about the Swift Family and I am so happy that I got to meet this wonderful loving family. The love this family has for each other is abundant and contagious.

-The Curve-
Atticus and Charlotte... what a couple! This is definitely one of Leslie's best books. I loved the story and I loved the characters. When you get a cocky baseball player who meets the one woman who doesn't fall hopelessly at his feet in their first meeting, you throw in a shy daughter that helps with their connection, and a family that is always there to bring in the love and laughs, you can't expect anything less than a beautiful love story. That is exactly what we get in Leslie's latest book.

-The Closer-
A short story full of laughter and amazing chemistry. Brick has been lost since tragedy hit him and being alone has served him well. January is the perfect woman to bring him back from that loneliness and their flirty banter is just what they both need.
Trying to convince each other that this is just friendship only helps in getting them even closer. The story is short and sweet yet doesn’t feel rushed. The characters are in their 40s and their maturity shows as they don’t play games when dealing with each other.

-The Cannon-
The third book in the Swift family series is as good as the first two. Here we have Sawyer Tom, a baseball player for the Memphis Mavericks and Bristol Swift, a doctor born into baseball royalty who has no love for the sport.
Their connection is scorching and although she fights it, Sawyer is not one to give up easily.
The story is made up of relatable characters whom anyone would be friends with. We see characters from the previous books, and this enhances the story so much, because we get to see where they have been, and the family dynamic is wonderful. That is the one theme throughout this series, the importance of family, and it is so prevalent here. From the way Sawyer grew up and how that shapes him and his decisions, to the way he treats a special someone he meets.
This story is full of laughter, love, drama, and so much heat. Another great story by Leslie Pike and a wonderful addition to the Swift family.

All books in this series are amazing and definitely worth reading.

I've read each of these books individually and loved them...now they are all in one book!! If you haven't read these yes, you need to!! See below for each of my individual reviews and HAPPY READING!!!

Book 1:
I think this has to be one of my favorite books by Leslie so far! Atticus is so swoon-worthy...I mean who doesn’t love a hot baseball ⚾️ catcher?!? I know I do cause they have nice butts!!

There is lots of chemistry between Atticus and Charlotte from the get-go by after what Charlotte has been thru, you can’t blame her for resisting him. That charm wins her in the end though! She’d be a fool not to especially with the way he is with her daughter Mallory!

You’ll fall in love with all of these characters including Atticus’ family!

Book 2:
This is my favorite book by Leslie so far! Brick’s story and what he has lost is heart breaking, by to see how he has survived and then how he moves on with January is inspiring. Well, the whole story really is. Both characters are in their early 40s and have no kids. They have both been married; one divorced and one widowed. They have the same career as a sports agent but have never crossed paths until this book. They start out as friends, but you can tell it will lead to something more! I don’t know what it is about this book that pulled at my heart strings and even gave me some tears...maybe it’s the fact that it gives me hope I’ll find my someone someday and it’s never too late or maybe it’s something else. I can’t explain it. This story is a must and while it’s only a novella, I hope to see more from these characters in the future! Bravo Leslie!

Book 3:
This is the 3rd book about The Swift Siblings.
This story centers around Sawyer (a hot baseball player from Texas) and Bristol (a doctor whose family happens to own the team Sawyer plays on).
I love how we get to see all of the previous characters return for this one! Bristol's family is a true southern family and I truly enjoy reading about them.
The chemistry between Sawyer and Bristol is evident from the get-go...it's just a matter of when Sawyer will break through those walls Bristol has built up!
There are parts that fell a little short for me but overall I enjoyed this one.
Congrats on the soon-to-be release Leslie! I can't wait for the next book to see what you have up your sleeve! <3

The Curve left me in tears. But don’t worry people they were good tears. Charlotte & Mallory are the sweetest mother and daughter. Then in walks in Atticus. (I feel like Taylor Swift’s song should be playing, I knew you were trouble when you walked in) lol! Yes he’s a player in and off the field. That is until he lays eyes on Charlotte. And she’s not impressed in him, which only knocks her up and few notches in everyone’s eyes.

The Closer is about Brick and January. You may remember Brick in The Curve. He was Atticus Swift’s brother. Brick and January are both in the same profession as baseball sports agents. They are older and have had their own heartaches and experiences. They share this flirty banter that’s hilarious. They keep trying to convince themselves that this is just a friendship. When the facts are it’s clear to everyone else it’s much much more. This couple couldn’t be more made for each other. If you read any of Leslie’s books this is the one to go to. I loved it. It’s a must read for sure.

Last but not least is The Cannon!
Sawyer Tom is the man of your dreams. He's a true southern boy that has lined that will make you swoon for days. He's also the pitcher for the Memphis Mavericks. None of that means his backstory is anything to dream about. It's sad and heartbreaking. Then walks in Bristol Swift, you may remember her if you read the two previous books in this series. She is Atticus and Brick's sister. Bristol hates baseball and doesn't want anything to do with it. Sawyer is not giving up when it comes to her. As they start their story, they meet someone very special along the way who reminds Sawyer of himself. When tragedy strikes will they get to have the future they are all dreaming about it will it fall apart?

~ The Curve (Swift #1)
What a sweet, heartfelt, sizzling romance! Atticus Swift was enjoying the single life as a professional baseball catcher. When he met Charlotte Bay, a devoted single mother to a sweet but scarred young teen, his whole world shifted. Sparks ignited between them instantly, but Charlotte holds back choosing to focus on her daughter, Mallory, and helping her feel safe and happy. Atticus can't explain it but is determined to get to know them both. I loved the way the relationship between all three of them grew organically as they learned to trust each other, building a strong foundation, along with the sizzling, slow-burn sexual tension between Atticus and Charlotte. Atticus really made me swoon as he took his time with them both. Charlotte is a great mom who puts her daughter first and Mallory reflects the strength and resilience of her mom. The family gatherings were hilarious and added so much warmth, and tenderness to this story as well.
I always enjoy the narrations by Joe Arden, and Maxine Mitchell. They did an incredible job bringing this heartwarming and sizzling story to life, immersing me in their world, and making this fun, heartfelt, and sizzling romance even more irresistible!

~ The Closer (Swift #2)
This quick listen is another heartwarming, sweet and steamy romance in the Swift family series. Brick and January are an amazing couple. Brick lost his wife and their unborn baby years earlier, and he never thought he would love again. January is a successful sports agent and isn't looking for a relationship. When they have a chance meeting, they have so much in common, they become instant friends. That is the foundation to the sparks that ignite between them, and they are unable to remain 'just friends'. January is everything Brick didn't know he was looking for, and Brick is a sweet, fun, and sexy southern gentleman, she can't help but fall for him too. I loved how their relationship grew and developed along with the help of Bricks' hilarious, quirky, and loving family.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell continue to bring this heartwarming and sizzling story to life. They portrayed the fun and flirty banter between Brick and January beautifully while breaking down both of their walls. I enjoyed their performances that made me laugh, smile and swoon all at the same time.

~ The Cannon (Swift #3)
This third book in the Swift series took my breath away! It was sweet, and charming with lots of heartfelt emotion. Bristol Swift is strong, independent, and could care less about baseball. When Sawyer "The Cannon" Tom joins the Mavericks, his eye lands on Sawyer. He never thought she wouldn't be interested, and her confidence and wit makes him want her even more. As luck would have it she gives him a chance, and he soon realizes she is out of his league. As they spend time together, learning more about each other, they start to fall for each other. But they both have secrets from their past that cause them to hold back. Will their secrets and fear keep them from opening their hearts to each other? This was such a sweet, tender story that broke my heart at times. I loved the way that Sawyer and Bristol came together and made each other stronger, and more confident. They are so great together, he is so sweet and swoony, and Bristol really challenges him, giving him what he has always wanted.
Aaron Shedlock and CJ Bloom did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They delivered all the wit, emotion, and steam and I was totally lost in their performance. I really enjoyed listening to this fun, touching, sweet and steamy romance!

A Fabulous Trifecta of Amazing Romance Novels & Audible Listens🎧

Swift Series Collection
By: Leslie Pike
Narrated by: Joe Arden, Maxine Mitchell, Aaron Shedlock, CJ Bloom
Series: Swift, Book 1-3

Leslie Pike knocks it out of the park with this fabulous collection of sports romance novels, each one being just as amazing as the other. Each book features a different member of the Swift family and while each book stands on its own, the characters interconnect and crossover into each other’s books and knowing their backstory adds depth, plus seeing them again is like seeing an old friend. The first book, “The Curve” is Atticus Swift and Charlotte Bay’s story. He is a catcher for the Memphis Mavericks who has been sidelined with an injury and she is a single mom of a daughter struggling with insecurities. Charlotte grabbed his attention at a family party but she wanted nothing to do with him, but that did not stop him and he found an in and took it. It was great to watch their relationship grow into something deep and loving. The second book, “The Closer”, is Brick and January’s story, the two meet while negotiating contracts for one of their players. Brick has not been interested in any woman for years and January stirs up a feeling he has not felt in a really long time. January impressed Brick, not only as a successful and well respected female sports agent working in what is a man’s world, but with the way she carries herself. The chemistry between these two is smoking hot and watching them fall for each other was something special. The third book, “The Cannon” is Bristol Swift and Sawyer Tom’s story and wow, what a story it is. She is a doctor and having been around ballplayers, she has vowed to not get involved with any of them. Sawyer, a pitcher, is the latest addition to the Memphis Mavericks and falls head over heals for Bristol, who will not give him the time of day but with her family in his corner he does not give up on her. This is another great love story, and like the first two books, the emotions pour off the pages and straight into your heart. I highly recommend these wonderfully written and plotted stories, they will warm your heart and captivate your attention from start to end. The characters are fantastic too. Lesile Pike, thank you for these amazing stories and emotional rollercoaster rides.

🎧📚🎧And for the amazing narration and lineup of talent, Leslie Pike cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell made a great team and delivered flawless performances in the first two books, “The Curve” and “The Closer” and Aaron Shedlock and CJ Bloom do the same in “The Cannon”. Each had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave them their own voice, one that fit their character’s persona perfectly, and they were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Their narration enhances these already brilliant stories to another level. Thank you for these fabulous listens.

4.5-stars!

The Curve

The Curve by Leslie Pike was such a quick and adorable read to get lost in. I absolutely loved getting lost in the story of Atticus Swift and Charlotte Bay.

Charlotte has devoted her entire life to her daughter, Mallory, and ensuring she gives her the best life possible. As a single mother, life has not been easy. But putting her life on hold for her daughter has meant loneliness for her. Charlotte was strong and honest, but also afraid to put herself out there.

I cannot express how much I loved Atticus Swift. He was everything. As the catcher of the Memphis Mavericks, he is arrogant, confident and a player. But one look at Charlotte and everything changed for him, no questions asked, and I really liked that. No second guessing or playing while things work out with Charlotte.

Charlotte and Atticus were so cute together. Their story was not an easy one, but they truly cared about each other and worked for what they wanted. I cannot wait to read more of the Swift family! This is a great, quick read to get lost in and one readers will enjoy! I loved it and highly recommend reading it.

4.5 stars! Loved it! Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.

Happy reading!

The Closer

I am so excited to be back with the Swift family. Though this is part of a series, each book can be read as a standalone, as each is about a different couple. In The World, we get Brick Swift’s story. Brick is one sexy, smart and charming man. But due to old wounds, he keeps love at a distance.

January Jordan is a woman on a mission and she does not need a man. She has more important things to accomplish. But when a chance meeting happens, the sparks fly, even if they insist they are only friends. But their chemistry cannot be denied.

I loved both Brick and January. They were both smart, honest, and determined. Their story was full of witty banter, great characters and a story I loved. Though this is a novella, it was full story and one I highly recommend.

4.5 stars! Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.

Happy reading!

The Cannon

The Cannon by Leslie Pike takes us back into the Swift series and the character we have come to know and love. This time it is Bristol’s story. The only daughter in the family, she could care less about baseball, but one man is about to change all that.

I absolutely loved Sawyer and Bristol. Sawyer is a sexy and charming baseball player and Bristol is a doctor. When they meet, the chemistry is hot and steamy. But Bristol stays away from baseball players, though she may have met her match with Sawyer! He was one determined man! I loved watching them fall and following their journey.

I loved seeing all the previous characters and the entire family! The Cannon by Leslie Pike is not only a sports romance, but a story about family.

A great collection of stories about the Swift family. Each story is all about love and family and packed with all the emotion to tug on your heartstrings. You'll fall in love with the Swift family just like I have. Here are my reviews for each story in this set:

The Curve - This was a seriously good read! The characters are fantastic with so many layers. And the messages about family, love, and bullying really shape this book into an amazing story. First you've got Atticus, the playboy baseball star whose life is changed the day he sets eyes on Charlotte. He's led a charmed life full of family and love and is surprised to find just how much he wants things to work out with Charlotte. Then there's Charlotte, a single mother who has made her daughter her focus in life. She's happy with how things are but finds herself unable to resist Atticus' charms. Then you have Mallory, the daughter who is struggling with life as only a teenager can but she has the addition of a trauma that has left her with both mental and physical scars. I really enjoyed how all three came together in this story and the powerful messages shown in this book.

The Closer - I absolutely love the Swift family! The story was both sweet and funny and full of emotion. I loved the connection between Brick and January. Their relationship was fun and flirty and developed naturally from friendship to more. It was also great to see the rest of the Swift family and how much love they all have for each other. This book can be read as a standalone, but you will definitely enjoy it much more if you've read The Curve.

The Cannon - I loved the Swift family after the first two books in this series, and I didn't think it was possible to love them more, but after reading this one I do! The story is full of down to earth yet complex characters. Bristol is fiercely independent and stubborn and the perfect match for Sawyer. Sawyer is finally living a dream after a rough upbringing in foster care, but that hasn't jaded his heart. His unique circumstances have left him wanting to give back to others and he fits in perfectly with the Swift family. The story will make you both laugh and cry and tug on your heartstrings more than once on Bristol and Sawyer's journey to their HEA.

Great collection
What a great collection with talented narrators to bring them all to life.

The Curve
First, there is the story which has depth and feeling and a lesson to be learned. Atticus and Charlotte have chemistry but they are also living life and there are issues they have to weave their way through which is true for all of us. I also enjoyed Mallory's character. She has suffered but finds her way with Atticus' help. I loved seeing her grow and learn about how to deal with life issues. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell were great to listen to. I loved it from start to finish.

The Closer
Loved listening to Brick and January's love story. I loved how they are both settled in their lives and careers, but when they meet, the chemistry is off the charts, and being friends isn't enough. They have a great story with some twists and a HEA. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are great to listen to for this book. Loved every minute of it.

The Cannon
This book gave me all the feels and I still have them. One of the best books I have listened to in a while. This book starts with Bristol Swift, sister to Brick, and Atticus whom we loved from the first two books in this series. Bristol is not a baseball fan so when the hot pitcher, Sawyer Tom, takes a shine to her she is resistant at first but he has patience and determination and their love story is fantastic. I loved everything about this book, the characters are all likable and loveable and just felt like family. I felt like I was part of this Swift family, taken into their love and embrace just like Sawyer. The story is well thought out and entertaining. There are surprises and moments when you wonder what will happen. You feel the love of this family and I was excited for Sawyer and Bristol to find their forever. Aaron Shedlock and CJ Bloom were amazing to listen to. They kept me captivated from beginning to end and there is a fantastic epilogue that brought tears to my eyes as well as goosebumps.

The Curve
The Curve is a fast pasted, wonderful story that more than baseball.

Charlotte is a single mom who catches the eye of Atticus - a professional baseball
Player. At first I felt he came across as a cocky jerk but by the end of the book he redeemed himself into a caring, loving and thoughtful man.

Charlotte is don’t her best to raise a teenage daughter that has been through some trauma and bullying. Charlotte doesn’t trust quickly but Atticus is able to convince her to a date or two. The chemistry between Charlotte and Atticus is off the charts.

Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell hit the narration of the park. :) The emotion and depth they brought to both characters was fantastic. They were a perfect pair to provide their amazing voices to this story.

The Closer

This was a great novella - Brick and January’s story. There is an instant attraction between these two mature adults. They tried to take it slow but the attraction was too strong.

Brick and January gave us lots of laughs, fun banter, and chemistry filled chapters. There are some emotional parts to Brick’s backstory and some wonderful surprises along the way.

Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did a fantastic job with the narration. They are some of my favorite narrators and I enjoy the emotion and beautiful voice they bring to each of their characters

The Cannon

The Canon is the final book in the Swift Series. This family is fantastic and I enjoyed the appearances from the characters in the previous books.

I really enjoy this reverse age gap, sport related story. Sawyer has an instant attraction to Bristol…takes her a bit longer to warm up. They have a beautiful romance and find they have a lot in common. They help each other through some issues and both come out stronger in the end.

Aaron Sherlock and CJ Bloom do an excellent job with the narration. The emotion and depth they bring to each character makes the story they much better.

The Swift Series

Leslie Pike has knocked it out of the ballpark with this charming, sports romance series. This series is not without drama.
Leslie Pike's Swift series, is all about family. Having the importance of love and support . They are a famIly that love deeply, have fun , and cherish each other.

The Curve
Atticus is out of his comfort zone by dating a woman with a daughter. He realizes Charlotte is the one for him. How can he convince her that he is in it for the long haul and want them both?
I love how this story touches on the subject of bullying, in life and social media.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell narration told this story with so much emotion. I felt all the anguish, angst, love, fun of every character. Amazing narration.

The Closer
I love, love, love this story.
It's fun, sassy, snarky, The sexy double entendres between January and Brick make this story so much fun . I was So laughing out loud.
Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell are entertaining storytellers .
They give the characters life, and personality. Their narration is very animated that make this story fun,, humorous , and many laugh out loud moments.

The Cannon
Sawyer, "the Cannon", joins the Maverick's team as a pitcher. Sawyer is confident, knows what he wants and goes after it. When he sees Bristol, he knows she is the one for him. Her confident, stubborn attitude makes it a challenge for him. And he isn't one to back down from a challenge.

Bristol finds out that she misjudged him. She sees he is gentle and emotional . He has a life of love to give.
Sawyer comes from a broken background. He has a sweet, compassionate demeanor when it comes to foster kids.

Aaron Shedlock and CJ Bloom narration is very good. This story is so emotional. Perfecfly written and narrated. At times I was crying and laughing out loud with the characters. Well done.

Loved this series so much! ❤️ - Audiobook Review🎧
The Curve
This was a fun, sexy romance with no angst. I love the story of Atticus and Charlotte and couldn't stop listening until I finished the entire book. Charlotte is a strong single mom raising Mallory and not looking to be in a relationship until Atticus comes into her life. Their story is beautiful and I just loved Atticus and his family! They are a funny and lovable group of people. Joe and Maxine are awesome narrators and were perfect for the story. This is a must listen!

The Closer
This is a fun, sexy, romance between Brick and January. They meet and become friends and once the flirting starts, this story gets hot! We learn Brick's story and why he hasn't been in a relationship recently. It's a heartbreaking story, but January is helping him learn to love again. I love that the rest of the family was in this story too. The narration was awesome with Joe and Maxine! I love the Swift family!

The Cannon
You had to wonder what would happen if a baseball player fell for Bristol knowing how she felt about Baseball!  Well, Sawyer had quite the job ahead of him.  Sawyer Tom was the new pitcher on the team and got along with the Swift family and wanted to get to know Bristol better, but she had other ideas.  Once they started talking and Bristol learned more about Sawyer’s past, she started to like him.  This story had very little angst and was fun, romantic, and heartwarming.  There were a few times that I felt a bit sad and teary eyed, but it was a great story.  I loved having the Swift family all together again during the story and catching up with their lives.  The epilogue was a surprise and was Fantastic!!  In this book with all 3 stories, we get an extra epilogue!! I am so sad this story is ending – I loved every book in this series so much!!  Aaron and CJ did a great job on the narration!

The Curve
What a great read from Leslie Pike. This single-Mom/sports romance is about Charlotte and Atticus, who have an immediate connection when they first meet. We get to dive into their lives as they navigate how to date while playing baseball, for Atticus, and raising a teenage daughter, for Charlotte. This was a sweet and very enjoyable read.

The Closer
Leslie Pike has written another wonderful book in the Swift series. This book is about the oldest sibling, Brick and his connection with January Jordan, another sports agent in town for a meeting and personal business. Their "just friends" get togethers quickly morph into something more for both of them.
A couple of things that I very much liked about this book, both main characters were older and this book was part of the Cards of Love series, so we get to see the tarot card aspect woven throughout the story. This book is full of love, and sweet moments that make you want to be apart of their world while reading the story.

The Cannon
Bristol's book is here! She has been the spitfire sister we have seen in the previous books about her brothers and we finally have her story. And then we have Sawyer, the sexy ball player with the Texan drawl that is so swoon worthy that we all will want to go find our own Sawyer! This is a story of this swoony ball player that knows what he wants and that is the spitfire sister of the Swift family. This story will make you laugh and maybe shed a tear or two because of the heartfelt nature of Sawyer's story. I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down once I started.

The Curve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Charlotte and Atticus’ story was nice. Charlotte, single mother of Mallory has not dated in forever; choosing to put her daughter first. Atticus is a hotshot baseball player who is also a player, if you know what I mean.

When these two meet, Atticus feels the chemistry and needs to know more, but can Charlotte trust him? Their bond is built up over time and to be honest, Atticus was a total swoon-worthy sweetheart! This book touches on the tough subject of bullying, and how it affects Mallory.

The Curve is a short, sweet book with a HEA. Perfect Sunday afternoon read! I will read book 2, I am interested in Bricks story.

The Closer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brick and January’s story was super sweet. If you are looking for a no angst, swoony, love story...this is it. Sometimes it is almost to romantic, but I am a cynic.

Brick has experienced pain in his life that has closed him off. Will January be the one to finally thaw his heart? You will need to read to find out. This is a great Sunday afternoon read.

The Cannon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bristol is the last single Swift. She’s an independent, intelligent Pediatrician that doesn’t want anything to do with baseball. Sawyer, my dear sweet broken cowboy...takes one look at Bristol and knows that she is his.

This is a sweet love story, with a little emotion thrown in. No real angst, just some feels along the way. This book was easy to read, and warmed my heart. A perfect quick read on a lazy weekend. The epilogue was the best! I really enjoyed what the author did with that. An enjoyable series.

This boxed set includes three novels: The Curve, The Closer, and The Cannon. I highly recommend this series.

The Curve: This is the first book in the Swift series. Wow! I loved it! Atticus and Charlotte's story is so sweet and heartwarming! Atticus, a charming playboy, is such a good man, caring and supportive. Charlotte is beautiful, strong, and caring. They are perfect together. Charlotte's daughter Mallory is a beautiful teenager, strong, and resilient. The story is well written and engaging. Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell did an amazing job with the narration. They are perfect as Atticus and Charlotte. I enjoyed it!

The Closer: This is the second book in the Swift series, a Sports Romance. I love this series! Brick and January‘s short story is beautifully written, fast-paced, emotional, funny, and heartwarming. They are such wonderful characters! Brick's past is so heartbreaking! It was great to have news from Atticus and Charlotte from The Curve, book one in the series. The Swift brothers are amazing. Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it!

The Cannon: This is the third book in the Swift series, a Sports Romance. I love this series. This is a standalone in the series, but it is definitely better to listen to this series in order. Sawyer and Bristol's story is beautifully written, sweet, and very emotional. I loved to follow them in their journey to love. The supporting characters are great. I loved the Epilogues. Aaron Shedlock and CJ Bloom did an outstanding job with the narration. I enjoyed it.

*** 4.5 Stars ***

The Swift Series by Leslie Pike is a contemporary sports romance series consisting of three books told in first person, dual POV. The series is centered around the Swift family, a famous Memphis baseball family, with each book highlighting a different member as they fall in love.

The Curve features Atticus, a playboy, the youngest Swift sibling, and the catcher for the Memphis Mavericks as he pursues single mother, Charlotte, after meeting her with her teenage daughter, Mallory, at a signing. (4 Stars)

The Closer features Brick Swift, a widower and sports agent. It follows the relationship between Brick and January, a new sports agent in town. (4.5 Stars)

The Cannon features Bristol Swift, the only female sibling and the only Swift with absolutely no interest in baseball or its players. But Sawyer, the new hot shot pitcher for the Mavericks, is determined to win her over. (5 Stars)

I really enjoyed this series. The Swifts are a warm, fun, supportive, and loving family unit. The stories are touching, humorous, and sexy. As I read the collection, each book seemed to be better than the previous one. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing collection of stories with a different couple in each novel, which comprises of the following: -
#1 The Curve
This is Charlotte and Atticus’ story. Charlotte is a single mom who had dedicated her life to her daughter. One glance from Atticus and he is hooked, but he just needs to convince Charlotte to get on the same page. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. This is a lovely story which had me hooked and intrigued throughout.
#2 The Closer
This is Brock and January’s story. Both characters have heart-breaking pasts and are not looking for a relationship, so they agree to be friends. The chemistry between these two is explosive but can they move from friends / lovers? This is a well written tale with witty banter, and I was enthralled throughout this riveting tale.
#3 The Cannon
This is Sawyer and Bristol’s story. Sawyer knows what he wants and that is Bristol, but can he convince this doctor to take a chance on him, especially when she wants nothing to with ball players? These two have undeniable chemistry and this is an entertaining and steamy read.
These are beautifully written tales with engaging characters, and I highly recommend for all readers who love sport romance stories.

I listened to each of Leslie Pike’s “Swift” series books when they first came out as audio, and really enjoyed them. What’s not to like? Fantastic writing, great sports romances, truly great characters - and four of the very, very best narrators in the biz (some of the top faves on my list)!!

When she asked if I would re-listen to the new collection of the series now it was being released all together with bonus material, I jumped at the opportunity. Of course I wanted to come back and re-listen to a series I adored and get to listen to some extra information about all of the characters! The bonus material is extended epilogues, and wow - this truly adds so much and I know that it’s turned an excellent series into an amazing one!

Anyone who hasn’t read or listened to anything from Leslie Pike before, especially this series, really needs to pick it up now! This particular trilogy is now only one credit! It’s totally worth it (I mean, just look at who’s narrating! Joe Arden? Yes, please! Aaron Shedlock? Uh huh!! Maxine Mitchell? Voice of perfection. CJ Bloom? Take my money now!).

Perfect scores for writing and perfect scores for narrator performances. Everyone should go grab this from Audible now!

I received an advance copy from the author, and this is my honest feedback - thank you so much Leslie! I enjoyed the series even more the second time!

Great Collection of Sports Romance

This is an awesome collection of Sports Romance, all surrounding the Swift Family Baseball Dynasty.

Book one, The Curve- is based around sexy Atticus Swift, a catcher for the Memphis Mavericks. He finds his heart is being caught by Charlotte Bay, a single mother. This is something Atticus is not used too, but is falling deep for her.

Book two, The Closer- is based around the older brother Brick Swift, a sports agent. Sparks fly when he meets January Jordan who is another sports agent to the new second baseman. These two have the funniest banter.

Book three, The Cannon- Bristol is the only daughter in a Memphis baseball dynasty. She couldn’t care less about the sport or the attention she gets from its players. Her laser focus is on her medical practice. Until one dance with a handsome stranger Sawyer Tom who just happens to be a Baseball player for the Memphis Mavericks. He just had to be one thing Bristol was sworn to never get involved with a player. Sawyer has a sweetheart and is breaking down her walls.

The Curve:

Who doesn’t love a great sports rom-com? Add in a single mom and a sexy player and it’s pure magic. Atticus and Charlotte’s story was sweet and funny and the quick wit brought a smile to my face.

The Closer:

Everyone deserves a second chance to find love. Brick and January’s unique love story was sweet and funny and it genuinely warmed my heart. I loved watching Brick open up and I found their cheeky banter entertaining. It’s the kind of story you lose yourself in and you never want to end.

The Cannon:

I absolutely adore the Swift family. They have the biggest hearts and they embrace newcomers and make them feel like part of their tribe. Bristol and Sawyer’s story was both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Their unique journey to happily ever after had several unexpected twists and turns. I felt a deep connection to both Bristol and Sawyer and I found their personal struggles relatable. This story made me smile and laugh. It also brought on more than a few tears.

The Curve: I took my sweet time reading this. I didn't want the story to end. Atticus changes his ways for a woman. I love how he is with Mallory and how he pursues Charlotte. Another great read from Leslie.

The Closer: Loved reading this! Really glad Leslie wrote about Atticus's brother Brick from her other book The Curve. We get to read all about the Swift family again!!!

The Cannon: So glad to be able to read all about the Swift family again. This third book is about the 3rd Swift sibling, Bristol. Bristol the doctor that wants nothing to do with baseball and it's players. And then you have Sawyer the smooth talking Texan. Loved that all the Swift family were once again a big part of this book like the other two books in the series. Another book by Leslie that I couldn't put down.

Absolutely loved it! I loved Charlotte and Atticus connection, chemistry, and they were perfect for each other. A truly wonderful story from beginning to end.

The Closer
I loved reading this story. Brick and January are both older and have both had their own heartbreaks. They get together as just friends, but it turns into so much more for both of them. I loved the banter between them and they have amazing chemistry. I really loved this story and definitely recommend it.

The Cannon
This book was so good! Sawyer is a hot ball player with a Texas drawl. Bristol is a doctor and wants absolutely nothing to do with ballplayers. Sawyer isn't a man to give up on something he wants and he wants Bristol. A terrific story and I loved every single page of it.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I love sports romance and I love the idea of following a family! It is great that the whole family is in one place and you can read all of their stories right in a row so that it is like one long story.

The only thing I wish is that they would have been a bit longer so that we could have a bit more story time before sexy times.

Fun is a fashion statement and the Swifts prove themselves up to the task. The chase is on and Pike knows that's only half the fun. Atticus and Charlotte. January and Brick. Bristol and Sawyer. Six couples who are determined to keep their heads in the game. Even at the cost of their heart. FABULOUS!
