By all the Saints, someone to hear her call. Victoria has been abused practically all her life. She’s the kind of person who think that little bit of abuse isn’t so bad it’s a lot of abuse or being laid up in the hospital. Which is how she ended up going from one Person to an abusive partner. And then his abusive friends jumped her in an alleyway to help him get her. Damn near left for dead, Saint came to save her. Saint did not hear her call but he was able to find her and save her. This was a steamy, yet slightly action-packed story to read. When someone you just met has been the saint that you called for when you’re on your break of death... well, you’ll have to finish reading the story now and figure this out.

I liked this book, and I liked the plot. Vittoria and Saint are so good together. Dale is awful, and I’m very glad Vittoria got away from him.
However, in my opinion, it needs a lot of work. Part of this may be because I got it as a PDF (I signed up for an ARC). There were major spacing issues - both spaces where there shouldn’t be spaces and no spaces where they should be spaces. In addition, there were words that were out of place. There would be a couple of words that shouldn’t have been there, or they should have been put in properly instead of just appearing wherever. Like I said, part of this could be due to the format, but it really gave the impression that the author didn’t proofread it very well or at all. This is why I gave it a lower number of stars.

A gritty entertaining story of a woman running from an abusive MMA fighter into the arms of a man just as ruthless. Is the new man a sinner or an avenging angel? I like the romance of this story - an abused woman is rescued by a man who cares about her and shows her a life she’s only dreamed of. The fact that he is gorgeous, fiercely protective and a little damaged just adds to his charm. I like that Vittoria is a fighter and stronger than she gives herself credit for. She risks her own safety for the well-being of others. There are elements of insta-lust/love and retribution. This is a short story with a satisfying HEA! 3.5 stars.

A quick and easy read
One enters this story immediately with our protagonist, Vittoria, running from her abusive partner only to be beaten up by his fans. Preferred the hero, Saint, who shows his thoughtful, caring nature. The move from one relationship to another was somewhat rushed, especially as Vittoria was still recovering. I don't think sex would be on the agenda for at least a week. Yet Saint and Victoria are actively enjoying each other after two days. After say all that a great and easy read!!

Insta Everything
I have read most of Ms. Reyes’ books and enjoy her quick take no prisoners style. Escaping from her MMA fighter boyfriend, Vittoria is brutally beaten by his fanboys. She is rescued by a mysterious man named Saint. He rights all of the wrongs in her life....her attackers and sorry boyfriend. The unbelievable parts...this happens over the course of a few days, Saint is a MMA fighter too. I always enjoy books by this author but have to leave ALL of my common sense behind.

Loved it!!!!
Great characters, they were so full of life and pain which made them even more interesting. From page one you get drama and lead character doing what they do... make us wish we were a damsel in distress at least once. This story is so captivating, it will make you bookmark or highlight every chapter. Please read yet another amazing book from Ms Lara Reyes: She always delivers. Highly recommend.

Awesome short story
I loved this story so much that I couldn't put it down. Vittoria is a sweet woman that was abused by her dad and then as an adult was in an abusive relationship. She gets attacked by her boyfriend's friends. Saint rescues her and they fall in love. The fight scene when Saint destroyed her ex, Dale. This is the first book that I've read by the author, and I can't wait to read more.

Vittoria was beaten by her sick ex boyfriend's goons and left for dead in an alley in the snow. But along comes Saint, who found her and took care of her. I loved this book! Saint saw Vittoria and vowed to love and protect her. But Vittoria was scared that Dale would find her and hurt Saint. Well Dale got the surprise of his pathetic life. Such a good book!! Totally loved the ending!

A riveting read that is well written, engaging, emotionally deep, funny, and enjoyable with drama, ups and downs, a physical attack, and off the charts chemistry! The characters are well developed, strong, and likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts! Definitely recommended.

Great Love Story
Sinful Haven was a great love story. But it was too short . I would have like to have read how and why his feelings developed so quickly for Vittoria. I can understand Vittoria's quick feelings. A knight in shining armor will do it for a girl anytime. The book needed more substance otherwise I would have rated it a 5. I truly enjoyed the read.

Saint and Sinner
I liked this quick read. We were introduced to our heroine story rather quickly. Vittorio had had a rough life and both her father and boyfriend had been abusive. Yet a stranger's kindness in her hour of need changes her life. It is his story that is more complex and the joy is unraveling who he is.

This is a great read with great characters that are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is hot and steamy. The storyline flowed smoothly from beginning to the end.

Not bad but
I usually don't write reviews but, I give 3 stars because it is not a bad short story. I need a red pen for all of the punctuation errors though! It almost makes it hard to read. Do we not know that conjunctions have commas? Did it not go to proofing?

This is a short curvy girl romance. Both characters are damaged. The storyline has actions suspense and drama.
