About the author

Roger Hargreaves was a British cartoonist, illustrator and writer of children's books. He created the Mr. Men series, Little Miss series and Timbuctoo series, intended for young readers. Classic mr men characters with a spooky twist perfect for preparing for Halloween.

Little Miss Scary are on their way to the funfair one dark and stormy night but she and her friends run out of petrol.
They rock up to a creepy looking house asking for assistance but they soon regret it when Frankenstein opens the door and the house is full of other creepy monsters.
But looks are deceiving and the moral of the story is not to judge as the monsters didn't have monstrous trouble on their minds.
This was a really sweet and fun picture book.
It had a nice, spooky story perfect for read aloud Halloween reading to young children and great bold illustrations throughout to capture the imagination.

This book was about little miss scary taking her friends to a fair but to a spooky fair. At the end they found that they were invented to a tea party
