I appreciated how Lisa includes research, anecdotal examples, and specific methods and techniques for toddler discipline. One section that most interested me was the one on tantrums. I liked how she recommends using clear boundaries and empathy to achieve the desired result. Not only does this help with tantrums, but it's also teaching healthy relationship dynamics for the future! Super cool!
This book is surprisingly informational about things I'd never thought about and provides dozens of parenting tips based on scientific research distilled into something parents can easily digest during one of their two-minutes-long breaks in the day. The pages are divided into useful sections based on specific needs and situations. I recommend this book to all parents with children from 0 to 4 years old...

This is a great book that really addresses discipline from an innovative standpoint and solves many behavior problems through communication strategies. I have implemented some strategies from the book and they have paid off in droves for my 3 year old.
