Having grown up on "Main Street", Sauk Centre, Mn. this book was a personal joy to read. My mother knew Al Tingley and his life partner quite well and before her death gave me the autographed copy Mr. Tingley presented to her as his gift. My very first job when I turned 16 was at The Palmer House Hotel as a waitress.
