A quirky book, packed with pointless trivia about the "food" I love most. For instance, did you know that "In 1797 Goethe, the German poet and philosopher, made sure he had his chocolate equipment when traveling in Switzerland. From our current perspective, it seems odd that a German should have felt it necessary to take his chocolate with him to Switzerland. However, the Swiss did not actually start manufacturing chocolate until as late as 1845..."?
