The Parent Track is a must read for anyone looking to succeed both as a parent and as a professional. I read this book as I was returning to work from maternity leave and found much of the content to be immediately applicable and beneficial. From strategies on structuring my time in and out of the office, to how to approach my work more efficiently, The Parent Track provided practical advice and actionable suggestions. Some of the most impactful parts for me were how to create a workplace and personal support structure, and how to best partner with your better half for longterm success. Reading this as I returned to work allowed me to recenter and reenter the workforce with purpose and clarity. It’s a great tool in becoming a more present parent and a more effective professional. Christine’s book and experience show that it really is possible to ‘have it all’, as she shares lived experiences and every day hacks to achieve in lifes many roles.
