***** Simply Wow!
Levi wrote as an expat writer who has spent most of his adult life travelling from one country to another. A lot of people relocated to abroad without sufficient preparation only to be disillusioned by the reality of their new home. This book offers tips, strategies and tools to help immigrants or expats count the cost before burning the bridge! 5-star!

***** I needed this book years ago! Awesome and practical!
This book is so helpful! I have lived as an expat in Sicily and Egypt. If I would have known some of these tips, life would have been even easier for me.

***** Awesome book!
This book has some excellent tips! The author provides so much information that if you’re looking to live abroad you will need to read it! Make sure you do your proper research, that your goals are measurable and my favorite- talk with the taxi driver and cashier instead of the agents because they will not have a hidden agenda. Highly recommended!
I'm moving to Barcelona in the next couple of weeks so this book had some very useful advice which I will definitely take on board. I found the author encouraging and comforting and the layout of the book is clear and concise in terms of serving as an appropriate guide for expats. There were a few grammatical errors, but I really don't see this is as an issue because I myself will soon be faced with living and working in a different language-speaking country and I doubt I'd be able to compile such a useful and supportive book myself. I also found his cultural stories surrounding South America, Qatar and Poland very interesting!
This is a nice short read and gives the reader some good tips about living and working abroad. Not great on the detail but you can find useful stories and anecdotes that make it an enjoyable read. Realising that English is not the writers first language, I was able to overlook the grammatical mistakes that exist, particularly in the first few pages. These did not spoil the overall enjoyment of the book, however I'd suggest any new edition or revision would benefit from better editing.

A quick read, probably better for very novice/younger travellers. Still some useful tidbits & perspectives, the last part especially. As others noted, it reads as a draft and should be heavily edited; that being said, I could never write a book in my second or third languages so props to him. The biggest inspiration I took away was to start my own international consulting firm...
A nice small book about moving to new countries and adapting to new cultures. However, the large amount of spelling and grammar mistakes has made it difficult to enjoy this book. A proofreader would really be needed to revise this book.
A charming little resource book. Lots of tips I wouldn’t have thought or found online. AND I get a free 20-minute consultation from it. The author’s voice is refreshing and funny. Def want to read his other books 🤓
This book is easy to read and packed with genuine wisdom about the psychological factors that will enable you to succeed and be happy in a different country. Thank you
