The writer has shared all perspective on the issue of BALOCHSITAN . Starting from saradari system non existent middle class and state interventions . All that have lead to be the reasons for non development of BALOCHSITAN either politically , socially or economically. Most of the time the writer has relied on interviews and shorts essay published
In various magazines and papers. This could have been precise with use of primary data.
The good part is that he has shown balance in his writing skills and have made all stakeholders (Saradars, state institutions and federal government)responsible for non-development of balochistan.

Authored by a retired Major General, this book naturally leaves out certain aspects of the military’s role. Even so, the writer deserves credit for presenting the facts in a structured, coherent way. Overall,it’s a well-researched and concise read—an excellent primer for understanding this long-standing conflict.

I approached it as a novice, and by the end I felt more informed about the complex realities faced by both the local population and the government. It offers helpful context without overwhelming the reader.

A worthwhile read. Here’s hoping for lasting peace in this remarkable region and for the well-being of its resilient, good-hearted people.
