Assignments in Everyday Science

A collection of 50 units consisting of questions and activities that have been written especially for pupils at key stage 3 of the National Curriculum. The assignments are based on advertisements, instruction leaflets, newspaper clippings and artefacts. The questions cover planning investigations, handling data and include DARTs (Directed Activities related to Text). They are graded so there is an incline of difficulty within each topic and at the end of each assignment there is an "extra challenge" to stimulate the more able pupil.
