Rate this book
Practical A Teaching File is the only single-volume text that covers the entire breadth of the field of clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The book is written by two leaders in the field with 18 years of combined experience in teaching MRI to radiology residents and fellows. The material is logically presented in a series of representative cases selected to illustrate key teaching points that are essential to the clinical practice of MRI. More than 800 state-of-the-art images complement the text. The book covers both body and neurologic MRI, and is organized according to anatomic the brain, head and neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal system. Within each anatomic region, cases are organized according to broad categories of disease. Although most of the cases represent common indications for MRI, newer applications such as MR angiography and MRI of the breast are also included.
