The English Hexapla contains six English translations of the New Testament arranged side by side for easy comparison and reference. The six English translations are Wiclif, Tyndale, Cranmer, Genevan, Anglo-Rhemish and King James or Authorized Version. Additionally this book includes "the original Greek text" after Scholz (with the various readings of the Textus receptus) and the principal Constantinopolitan and Alexanderine manuscripts. Also included is a complete collation of Scholz's text with Griesbach's edition of 1805. The Hexapla text is preceded by a detailed and annotated 160 page An Historical Account of the English Translations dated 1841.
